"STARS ALIGN TOUR 2081" is a super luxurious coupling tour by three heavyweights. Here is a masterpiece video that allows you to experience the scene at its finest. This work is engraved with "San Diego performance on July 22, 2018". "STARS ALIGN TOUR" has a total of 27 performances in North America from July 18 to August 26, and this is the fourth performance. It is a three-disc set that includes three audience shots, each on one disc. Now, let's introduce the footage of each artist individually. [Disc 1: Ann Wilson] First up is Ann Wilson. "STARS ALIGN TOUR" is basically a double headliner with Jeff & Paul. Ann was in an opening act position, and she only had about 45 minutes. Since it was the opening, it was a high-day performance, and the audience seats were still sparsely populated. The quality of this work, which contains such a show, is an amazingly superb audience shot. As soon as it starts, the angle that captures the entire stage from the right diagonal jumps into your eyes, but it's only for a moment. It zooms in and out, so close that you can't tell where you're shooting. In fact, no matter how close you get, the zoom continues, so much so that you wonder, "How close are you going to get!?" In the end, Anne's bust-up sticks out of the screen, and you can even see the teeth barking into the microphone. Despite being a one-camera audience, it's a sight that is as impressive as a professional shot. The passionate performance depicted with that quality is amazing! Jeff and Paul had a set that summarized their careers, but Anne was mainly a cover. The original was limited to "Barracuda" and the solo "Fool No More", and the others were all cover songs. The lineup is also diverse, with THE WHO's "The Real Me" and "Won't Get Fooled Again" arranged, and in between, YES's "Your Move" and THE BLACK CROWES' "She Talks to Angels" will be performed. Of particular note are the songs from the upcoming new album "IMMORTAL". This album is dedicated to musicians who have passed away in recent years, and this album also features "You Don't Own Me" by Lesley Gore, who passed away in 2015, "Life in the Fast Lane" in memory of Glenn Frey, and "I Am the Highway" in tribute to Chris Cornell. Each song is performed with a passionate voice, but the highlight is "Your Move". John Anderson has an incredibly high angelic voice for a man, but Anne's natural and powerful singing voice is unique to a woman. This version is more rock-like and powerful than the original. [Disc 2: Jeff Beck] Next up is Jeff Beck. Jeff's stage also starts in the light, but the darkness deepens with each song. In addition to the profound new ensemble with the beautiful female cellist Vanessa Freeburn Smith, you can witness the fantastic scenery with the highest quality. And this disc is where the brilliant camera work shines the most. Both Anne and Paul focus almost only on the main characters, but Jeff also captures the breath of the band perfectly. When you think that Jeff's Stratocaster is zoomed in so much that it can't fit on the screen, he freely captures the highlights according to the song and scene. In the scene where the battle is overheating, he pulls back as much as he can to capture the sympathy, and when Jimmy Hall sings passionately, he shows a close-up of his expression. Rhonda Smith's vivid solo also moves closer and draws a super close-up of her hands. The much talked about Miss Vanessa is half hidden in the shadow of the amplifier, but the cameraman understands her position around "Mna na h-Eireann". Her beautiful expression is shown in close-up. All of this is a visual beauty that shows off the power of the latest digital equipment. The latest JEFF BECK GROUP, depicted with such quality, is also exquisite. Since it is a coupling tour, the set is shorter than in Europe, but the concentration and continuous tension are wonderful. Last year, the stage with the female duo BONES was a new taste that was almost out of place, but this year it is rich in the authentic Jeff sound. Miss Vanessa's cello sweetly colors "Mna na h-Eireann" and "Cause We've Ended as Lovers", but it is never just sweet. In "Stratus" and "Big Block", it produces heaviness and even exudes a sense of severe darkness. Moreover, the balance of push and pull is exquisite, and in the funky parts of "Just for fun," he sticks to chord-like ornaments, and in the latter half of the improvisation part, he battles with the guitar and bass all at once. You can enjoy a truly magnificent ensemble. [Disc 3: Paul Rodgers] Following the guitar legend is the singing legend Paul Rodgers. He was also the main act of this show. All three sets were recorded by the same photographer, and the position, quality, sense of camerawork, and bold zoom are all the same. You can experience a luxurious coupling with a sense of unity. And such a Paul show is right in the middle of the royal road. He has just released "FREE SPIRIT" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of FREE, but the 50th anniversary of FREE is also the 50th anniversary of Paul's debut. In the "STARS ALIGN TOUR", BAD COMPANY is added to the FREE number, and the highlights of his career are condensed into 14 songs. Paul's unchanging performance of such a set is frightening. He debuted in his teens and is now 68 years old, but his smooth singing voice is reminiscent of his golden age. Whenever I see many veteran singers, I get used to looking for "their old faces" and thinking "they don't seem to age," but Paul is different. Of course, his voice is not always raspy, but he gives us a voice that is on a different level from other singers. Furthermore, his appearance has not changed. His hair has turned white, but it feels like he has finally come close to singing the mature flavor of his songs. How cool is his grinning expression as he looks at the audience during "Wishing Well"... It is a 70-minute program where you can fully immerse yourself in the singing voice and performance that transcends time and space. Ann Wilson celebrates the lives of her now deceased fellow musicians, Jeff Beck continues to evolve, and Paul Rodgers celebrates his 50th anniversary of his career. This is an exquisite set that allows you to experience the latest stages of each of the three legendary rock artists in their entirety.
