This work was filmed at the "August 12, 1989: Yokohama Arena" performance. The 2CD recorded the complete Yokohama 2DAYS, but this work records the final day of the Japan tour in two types of footage. First comes the main audience shot. It is a shot looking down from the second floor seats on the left side of the stage (Terry Bozzio side), and records the entire show. The image quality is a little sweet and it cannot be said that "your hands and expressions are clear", but you can see the unique staging of the "GUITAR SHOP trio". Bozzio and Tony Hymas, who do not move from their fixed positions, stand behind them like a fortress, and in front of them, Jeff alone manipulates the guitar with flashy actions. It is a scene unique to 1989. In addition, the must-see points for this day only are "Freeway Jam" and "Going Down". In the former, Warren Ham of STEVE LUKATHER BAND jumps in and performs a co-starring on harmonica. This scene can be heard on CD2, but it was a little hard to understand because there was no MC introducing Warren. However, the mood is perfect. Apparently Warren was there because he wanted to play with Jeff, but because of that, even though they shared the stage, they didn't get along well, and they didn't have any battles. You can clearly see the subtle atmosphere. On the other hand, the last song, "Going Down," is a big hit. Steve Lukather, Neal Schon, and John Waite appeared and performed together, and the stage and the audience were in a frenzy. Especially on the final day, Lukather was having a great time, exchanging guitars with Jeff and hugging each other. It was a very fun scene. Now, the second video appears after this audience shot. This was taken by a related person and starts from the dressing room passage during the show. The staff headed to the stage while filming, and recorded closely from behind Bozzio. Think of the closeness as almost a professional drum camera. Of course, if you pull back, you can see Jeff clearly. This is a short video of five songs, but I'm glad that it includes the last song, "Going Down." The main audience shot conveyed a fun mood, but this is close enough to see the expressions of the guitarists. It is a precious close-up shot that makes the gorgeousness of the luxurious collaboration shine even more. The "GUITAR SHOP Trio" played a fierce ensemble despite being bassless. This is a masterpiece video that allows you to experience the unique tension in a "scene" and get up close and personal with the three gorgeous guitar heroes. It is also a great piece to witness a precious scene, both in terms of expanding the image of the main live album. Live at Yokohama Arena, Yokohama, Japan 12th August 1989 (87:09) 1. Savoy 2.
