From Jeff Beck's latest live performance in 2014, the performance at Foxwoods Grand Theater in Mashantucket, Connecticut on August 31st has been recorded completely with an ultra-high quality audience recording! ! The US tour that started in August was a hot topic due to the double bill with ZZ Top, but due to bassist Dusty Hill's injury, five performances on August 27th, 28th, and September 2nd to 4th were canceled, and Jeff Beck will play the three performances from August 29th to 31st as a "solo headliner". The Foxwoods Grand Theater performance was the third day of the solo headliner tour and the final one, but it was a much more voluminous set than the usual one, and the set with Jimmy Hall and more vocal numbers was full of highlights, which fans will love. (Jimmy's vocals have never been recorded so clearly before) The soulful singing performance of A Change Is Gonna Come is a must-listen! He sings in the best key! ! Needless to say, the performance is exciting and wonderful as always, but overall, Rhonda and Jonathan's rhythm section is quite tight throughout the entire performance (I don't remember that the April Japan performance was a combination of Narada and Rhonda, but it was basically just right or a heavy beat. Jonathan's fill-ins were also few.) The ensemble has changed into something very thrilling. Anyway, the band was in very good condition, and Beck suddenly started playing high-tension phrases from the opening song, Loaded. This tension was unbearable. Rhonda's faster than usual tapping solo in You Know You Know, Jonathan's explosive high-speed tom-play at the end, the beautiful crying solo that only Beck can express in Little Wing, the wonderful contrast between the simple six-barreled rhythm and Beck's playing in Superstition, etc. There are really a lot of things to listen to.
