This nearly complete recording of the August 27th show at Cape Cod Coliseum in Massachusetts, midway through the US tour led by Jeff Hammer Group after the release of 1976's "Wired," is based on the recently released original audience master by taper Dan Lapinski and digitally remastered in 2025. This nearly complete recording spans one hour and 23 minutes. This recording is based on the original master owned by the legendary taper, who was active around the same time as Mike Millard, from the mid-'70s to the early '80s. The latest equipment has been used to reduce noise, adjust the balance, and increase the previously low sound pressure, resulting in even better quality. This tour, featuring Aerosmith and Junto, was a huge hit everywhere, and Jeff was in top form, joining in on the fourth track and delivering a string of aggressive, miraculous performances. Firstly, they show off a powerful guitar solo in "Earth", then they launch into a battle in "Full Moon Boogie", then they perform "Scatterbrain" which is even more intense and hardcore than the studio version, and then "Blue Wind" which includes the encore "Train Kept A Rollin'", and the fusion/rock approach that is unique to this period is sure to give you goosebumps. Although the official live performance has also been released, it is still a delight for fans to be able to hear the entire live performance from that time in such quality, and here is one of the best performances of this tour in the best quality.
