Jeff Beck opened up a new world with ``LOUD HAILER'', a ``female vocal album'' that no one expected. A live album from the latest tour is now available. Currently, Jeff is starting a tour with the same UK female duo BONES as the album, and from the beginning, high quality recordings were made immediately. This week, three live albums will be released at once: this work, "PORT CHESTER 2016", and "VIENNA 2016". First, let's check the tour schedule for each position. ・July 19th Port Chester “PORT CHESTER 2016” ・July 20th New York ・July 22nd Mashantucket [this work] ・July 23rd Atlantic City ・July 24th Bethlehem ・July 26th Holmdel ・July 27th VIENNA “VIENNA 2016” This is “LOUD HAILER TOUR” 2016” opening schedule. Starting from Port Chester on July 19th, three powerful recordings came out in just seven performances. I don't know if they will continue to produce masterpieces at this pace, but they are already on the verge of declaring a "sound source abnormal situation". And, this work was recorded “July 22, 2016 Mashantucket performance”. It is an audience album that contains the third performance from the start of the tour. The first day “PORT CHESTER 2016” had a great sound, but this work is just as amazing. The clarity is almost 50/50, and this work has a sound that can be called ``just like a sound board'', but when compared, this work is slightly closer to the mid-high tones. This is also very vivid. The latest tour has a colorful contrast between new songs with female vocals and past songs, and the colors are even more vivid. Although it is only two performances after “PORT CHESTER 2016”, it is still a great recording that we cannot help but introduce this work. It's not just the sound that can't be ignored. Perhaps because it's the beginning of a tour for a new project, there's a lot of groping in the dark, and the differences between each performance are interesting. I'm also curious about Jeff's guitar skills and the way he plays the female duo, but the setlist is different from the beginning. There are no changes to the six new songs, but there have been changes to the past repertoire, with three instrumental songs being dropped: "Stratus," "The Pump," and "Even Odds," and "Lonnie On The Move," "Big Block," and "Blue Wind." Replace. Additionally, ``Little Brown Bird,'' which features Jimmy Hall's oxidized vocals, has been added. In particular, Muddy Waters' cover "Little Brown Bird" is an unusual selection. Among these songs, ``Lonnie On The Move,'' ``Big Block,'' and ``Little Brown Bird'' are still being played after this. I can't say for sure since the tour is still ongoing, but it seems like the basics of the set have been solidified on this day. The show consisted of such a set, and with the addition of one more vocal song, the “feel of songs” was further increased. To be honest, I think instrumental music is his true strength, but this is also Jeff's current work in progress. It is a live performance where you can fully enjoy Jeff's guitar dancing in obbligato, intertwined with the singing voice. In addition to the commemorative premiere of the new project ``PORT CHESTER 2016'' in conjunction with BONES, there will be ``2016 JEFF BECK GROUP'' where you can't miss every single performance thereafter. After seeing 3 performances of the tour, it is a live album that increases the weight of the songs even more, and little by little, we can see "the destination that Jeff is aiming for now". Rock with girl voices, blues rock with male voices, and 18th instrumental. A live album where Jeff's charm never stops and shines like a kaleidoscope.
