JCM (John Clem Mark), a trio formed by John Hiseman and his COLOSSEUM allies Clem Clemson and Mark Clark. Their debut album "HEROES" has just been released in their home country, but their latest live album has already arrived. This work contains the "Milton Keynes performance on April 9, 2018". It is a superb audience recording. First of all, let's understand the position of the show from their schedule that has just started. ・April 7-10: UK (3 performances) ←★Here★ ・April 13 + 14: Austria (2 performances) {"HEROES" released on April 20th} ・April 21-30: Germany #1 (6 performances) ・May 9-20: Germany #2 (10 performances) ・May 23 + 24: Czech Republic (2 performances) ・July 7: Hungary ・July 29: Germany #3 These are the schedules that have been released so far. JCM has been performing live since April this year, touring Central Europe, mainly in Germany. The Milton Keynes performance in this work was their second performance in their home country prior to that. This work, which records such a show, is a truly wonderful audience recording. The recording was made by a recording artist who has been active in the UK since the 1980s, and is well known in our shop as a "British master." He is well-versed in live spaces near London, and the "Stables Theater" in particular is his garden. He has produced masterpieces for various bands, including CARL PALMER'S ELP LEGACY, SOFT MACHINE, KT TUNSTALL, WISHBONE ASH, URIAH HEEP, and others. This work is also the latest of them. In fact, the sound of this work is as wonderful as the masterpieces mentioned above. It combines modern clarity with the warmth of DAT recording, giving you a full sense of the closed room of the club. It is a great recording that can be said to be a sample of the master sound. The sound portrays a heart-warming night. John first thought of forming JCM after hearing the news of the deaths of Larry Coryell and Allan Holdsworth last year. "Most of my friends who trusted me have passed away. So I thought, maybe they want me to continue making my own music. They're encouraging me to do so," he said. The album "HEROES" that was produced as a result of this includes covers of Larry, Allan, and Graham Bond, in addition to the songs of COLOSSEUM and TEMPEST, which John once led. And this live performance is also filled with that feeling. All the songs remade in "HEROES" are performed, as well as COLOSSEUM's "Skellington," TEMPEST's "Foyers Of Fun," COLOSSEUM II's "Watching Your Every Move," and Jack Bruce's "Grease The Wheels," "Morning Story," and "Theme From An Imaginary Western." Every song is filled with feelings for friends, but that's not all. Before each song, memories of former comrades are spoken and words of dedication are written. The three perform "Watching Your Every Move" in memory of Dick Hextall-Smith, "Rivers" dedicated to Gary Moore, and "Yeah Yeah Yeah" with Ollie Halsall's name. Jack Bruce's song is dedicated not only to him but also to poet Pete Brown, and Clemson plays "Four Day Creep" for Steve Marriott and Greg Ridley. Every time they hear the names of each person, the faces of heroes who are no longer with us come to mind, and the masterpieces are revived. To avoid any misunderstanding, this work is not a funeral, nor a tearful, damp show. If the MC is also friendly, the mood on the scene is very homely and warm. The three accomplished ensembles are wonderful throughout, and the classic songs regain their former glory. It's a show packed with the flavor of British rock. However, the performances are imbued with memories for both the performers and the listeners. It's a live album that feels like turning the pages of an album of your heart and talking to each other. JCM was started with the encouragement of friends who have passed away. This is a two-disc set that was recorded by a master who witnessed this heartwarming show and did his best. The more you love British rock, the more deeply you will resonate with this live album of your life. Please enjoy it carefully.
