This is a professional shot of ECM's saxophone player Jan Garbarek's 2002 concert in Norway, recorded from the master for TV broadcast. The cold, clear, exotic sound is truly Scandinavian and ECM-esque, and the members include German pianist Rainer Brüninghaus and ECM backbone Eberhard Weber, creating a unique world of supreme sound. As a bonus, two additional songs are included from the jazz festival live performance on April 1, 1990, which is performed by the same quartet except for the drummer being replaced by Nana Vasconcelos on percussion. This is a must-have item for ECM fans, lasting a total of 2 hours and 11 minutes. Recorded at 21st Internationale Jazzwoche Burghausen, April 1st 1990 1. TROLLSYN 2. STOREBROR OR LILLEBROR 3.
