This DVD contains the broadcast recordings of three shows from the 1980 tour accompanying the second solo album "Transparental" under the name of a duo with Kaz Lux, held in Sneak on August 2, Delft on December 14, and Dordrecht on the 20th, in master quality and on an official class soundboard. The highlights are the delicate playing, which is completely different from when Ackerman was in Focus, and the exquisite solo work, with its tone and use of beats that are effective in delaying, reminiscent of John Scofield, is a must-listen. The ensemble of the backing band is also superb, and as can be heard on the album tracks Marsha, Apocalypso, and I Don't Take It Much Longer, they show off the best playing that can only be heard during this period. It's unfortunate that they don't play any songs from Focus, but this 137-minute DVD contains the best performance in the best quality.
