September 30, 1985 Munich recorded live at Alabama Hall with professional shots. With ideal angles, you can experience a variety of technical plays in real life! In 1983, he transferred to CBS Records in the Netherlands, released the album "CAN'T STAND NOISE" in the same year, and in 1984, "FROM THE BASEMENT", with Thijs Van Leer participating in this "FROM~", Jan Akkerman. & Thijs Van The album "FOCUS" under the name Leer was released on Vertigo in 1985, and Ackerman's next solo album was "HEARTWARE" released two years later in 1987, so this video is based on the timing of his solo release. It was at a time when Ackerman's 1977 solo album "JAN AKKERMAN'' to Streetwalker, Crackers, 1984's ``From The Basement'' to All Along The Watchtower (Dylan cover), ZZ TOP's cover Fool For Your Stockings, Sly & the Family Stone's Higher. The content is quite varied. The entire performance is so great that it can be said to be a highlight as it incorporates songs from various genres, and you can hear the exquisite interplay between Ackerman and Dino that develops only through chord work. Streetwalker, Ackerman's 32-beat explosive solo in the intro (the super close-up of his hands in clear video is quite impressive!), and the slightly out-of-control ending is irresistible Fool For Your Stockings, normal 8 beats, impressive bass lines, and Crackers, who have a nostalgic flow of bass solos, 4 verses, and unison unique to this period, and other fascinating ensembles. (Although there was a mistake at the end of Hocus Pocus where both Ackerman and Dino played in unison...) Anyway, the combination of the two rhythm members who participated in From the Basement etc. was excellent, and All Along The Watchtower , the amount of craftsmanship at Higher never ceases to amaze me. This is an attractive item that luxuriously packages Jan Ackermann's precious time! Live at Alabamahalle, Munich, Germany 30th September 1985 PRO-SHOT 1. Streetwalker 2. Fool For Your Stockings 3.
