This is a happy reprint of the currently out-of-print "Jamming with Edward!" using the UK original version. This album, ``Jamming with Edward!'' was released in the UK and the US in January 1972 and ranked 33rd in the US. The content is said to be a recording of the jam session that Mick, Bill, Charlie, Nicky Hopkins, and Ry Cooder held at Olympic Studios during the recording of Let It Bleed in 1969. This was also the time when the Stones returned to their roots, the blues. Perhaps that's why it's basically an improvisational performance based on the blues. Track 2, "It Hurts Me Too," is a cover of Elmore James. On track 5, you can hear Mario Lanza's famous song ``Uruwashi no Yoi e''. The story behind the release of this album is that it was intentionally released at a low price in the UK, and the domestic version was also released at a lower price than the record price at the time. Basically, the composition of this session album is that Nicky's piano is the main part, and Ry Cooder's slide, who was attracting attention as a solo artist at the time this album was released in 1972, is involved. You can listen to the two's wonderful performances throughout the entire movie. Those who like Nicky's piano will love Tracks 3 and 6, and those who like Ry Cooder's guitar will love Tracks 2 and 4! (lol) And above all, this is an album that reminds us once again of the magnitude of Nicky's contribution to the Stones! This session reportedly lasted about an hour and a half, so I hope that the full session will be released someday. Digital sound sources were not made available until the CD was released in 1995, and in the past, items that were reprinted from the analog version were released, similar to this gift project, but the original version stands out from those. It is a gift that you can enjoy with the sound of. The reason for this is that we carefully traced the original UK version in mint condition (lol) Taken from the original UK LP (Rolling Stones Records COC 39100) (36:53) 1. The Boudoir Stomp 2.
