The performance at Carnegie Hall in New York on May 26, 1974, which took place when the fifth album "Walking Man" was released, was recorded in full with a super high quality stereo soundboard recording. It is recorded with such top-level sound that it could be released as an official live album as it is. The first recording of all songs in New York and the participation of luxurious guest musicians attracted attention, and top-class musicians such as David Spinoza, who also produced "Walking Man", Hugh McCracken, Don Glorinick, and Rick Marotta are backing. Peter Asher and Carly Simon (James' wife at the time) also participated in the chorus. The band gradually joined from the solo acoustic of the opening three songs, and the way they created a high-quality and tasteful sound world with the luxurious backing is a masterpiece. The deep vocals and urban sound are exquisitely blended, and you can confirm the direction of the sound and new charm that is clearly different from before even in the live performance. (Disc 1): 01.
