This is a live soundboard recording of James Blood Ulber, an artist who did not receive much attention at first, but who has been patiently promoted by our label for over 10 years. As it is a soundboard recording, the sound quality is fine, and it is recommended for beginners as well. It is a trio style recording, with the bassist being Bill Laswell, a genius who has performed in sessions with many outstanding musicians. The drummer is Roland Shannon Jackson, who is also a close friend of Ulmer.
