The second new strong metal label is IRON MAIDEN! The metal monster is now at its peak, ravaging the United States with his masterpiece "POWERSLAVE"! Enjoy plenty of ultra-high quality audience sound using the real cassette itself recorded at the live performance! The “World Slavery Tour” accompanying “POWERSLAVE” began in August 1984. From then until July 1985, a full year later, IRON MAIDEN toured all over the world without taking any kind of vacation. There have been approximately 190 live performances, and the stage set, venue size, and tour scale are all among the largest in MAIDEN's history. It was a tour that was at its peak in every sense of the word. It is no exaggeration to say that it is the pinnacle of HEAVY METAL music, as it is one of the biggest tours by one of the biggest monsters in metal history. This work is a night of such a golden era, the December 19th Milwaukee performance was cut out with the highest quality sound. The sound quality is exactly like a soundboard. From the roaring bass to the beauty of twin harmony to the well-centered bass drum, even complex riffwork is beautifully separated. The wonderful balance clearly conveys the amazing sound creation of the MAIDEN staff at the time. Moreover, it is noteworthy that the quality does not deteriorate throughout the recording. This tour is dominated by the absolute official masterpiece, but the sound quality is at the level of “audience version ``Resurrection of the Dead''. It's such a miraculous recording, but when you press the play button, the biggest drawback suddenly appears. Yes, the beginning of the famous song “Aces High” is missing (there is also a cut in the middle of “Powerslave”). It's a shame, it's really a shame! When pressizing this work, we considered supplementing it with already-released tapes or other dates, but due to the high quality of the recording, we came to the conclusion that ``even the gaps should be preserved as part of the document''. It has been decided not to do so. Of course, it would be easier to listen to the complete version of the show, but since it is a historical spectacle that only this much sound remains, I wanted to deliver the original version. In other words, the sound is overflowing with persuasive power. As it progresses in the familiar flow of “Resurrection of the Dead,” the biggest listening point is probably Dave Murray’s guitar solo time, which is not in the official version. The sound of a solo performance that spreads throughout the venue is completely different from a band performance! This beauty is a scene that directly proves the sound quality of this work. The solo transitions to "The Star-Spangled Banner" with drums, and develops into an exotic jam. Climax with guitar feedback and gong! The monologue that sneaks into the audience, which is buzzing with orgasm, is Revelation 13:18. Yes, “The Number Of The Beast”! Why was this dramatic scene cut from "Resurrection of the Dead"? The huge audience was brought up to another level by the wave of Dickinson's roar from the famous intro riff. I'm so happy to be able to listen to this wonderful moment with such great sound. It's been 27 years since I came to Japan in 1985, and I'm glad I've always loved MAIDEN... The show ends with the encore Run To The Hills/Sactuary, but this work also includes an FM recording of the October 29th Paris performance as a bonus. Although it is about 50 minutes of broadcast editing, Churchill's speech and "Powerslave" which were unfortunately missing in the main story are also included. “22 Acasia Avenue”, which was not played in Milwaukee, is also a nice point. Even with the bonus recording of such broadcast sound sources, the audience of the main part is not eaten up, but even shines even more. This fact alone should give you an idea of how high the quality of the main story is. This work not only has high quality sound, but also the performance is full of the hyper live performance familiar from "Resurrection of the Dead." When you experience a truly amazing live performance, it's the human nature of music lovers to want to see it again. Moreover, since it is the historical pinnacle of IRON MAIDEN, it is impossible to say that you should be satisfied with one official live performance. This work will make that dream of “one more time” come true in just 140 minutes! Not only core enthusiasts who collect all kinds of live performances, but also beginners of sound sources should listen to this work. I want you to know with your own ears that “IRON MAIDEN’s audience recording is so amazing”!
