South America has supported the champion IRON MAIDEN with special passion. A soundboard album that conveys the 1992 full show that established its popularity is now available. What is included in this work is the soundboard recording of “October 10, 1992 Caracas Performance (Venezuela)”. As ``ROCK IN RIO'' and ``EN VIVO!'' show, it is now semi-common sense that ``South America = pro-MAIDEN.'' However, its popularity was established in the 1990s, a little later than in other countries. It was during the "FEAR OF THE DARK" era, just before Bruce Dickinson left. Their first South American tour was the “1st ROCK IN RIO” in 1985, but due to the political situation, the tour did not materialize, and it was in 1992 that they started visiting South America again. What's more, in 1985, he only performed at a festival in Brazil, but seven years later, he went on a solo circuit throughout South America. After that, we built an enormous support base. In order to get an idea of the circumstances surrounding that, let's look back at the schedule at the time. 1992 “FEAR OF THE DARK Tour” [“FEAR OF THE DARK” released on May 11th] June 3rd + 5th: UK (2 performances) June 8th – July 17th: North America (25 performances) ) ・July 25th - August 4th: Latin America #1 (5 performances) ・August 15th - September 19th: Europe #1 (18 performances) ← *Official LIVE AT DONINGTON ・September 26th - 10th October 10th: Latin America #2 (6 performances) ←★Here★ ・October 20th - November 4th: Oceania/Japan (10 performances)《Bruce Dickinson announces his withdrawal》1993 “REAL LIVE Tour”・3 March 25th - June 4th: Europe #2 (44 performances) August 27th + 28th: UK (2 performances) ← *Official RAISING HELL This is IRON MAIDEN in 1992/1993. I visited Latin America on two separate occasions, visiting Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil in ``Latin America #1,'' which was winter in the southern hemisphere, and Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Venezuela in ``Latin America #2'' in the spring. Among them, the Caracas performance of this work is the last day of the latter “Latin America #2”. By the way, the three major countries in the South American scene are Brazil, Argentina, and Chile, and the number of tours by foreign bands and the number of domestic bands are vastly different. IRON MAIDEN is no exception, and has only performed in Venezuela three times in 1992 and 2009. Such a valuable show is also known for having left a masterpiece sound board, and this work is a CD version of the best master. In fact, the sound is exquisite. The balance where you can hear loud cheers that whisper in the distance feels like a direct connection system, but the well-balanced mix is official style. Spanish DJs, which are common in South American broadcasts, are also not included. In the first place, the essential official products “LIVE AT DONINGTON” and “A REAL LIVE DEAD ONE” are so vivid that you can’t believe they are official, so it is a soundboard album that feels like “A REAL South America ONE”. And, what is depicted with that semi-official sound is the first full show that is exciting in Venezuela. To be honest, the set may be the same as "LIVE AT DONINGTON", but since this is a good opportunity, let's organize it here. ・Virgin of Steel: Iron Maiden/Sanctuary/Running Free ・Killers: Wrathchild ・Mark of Magic: The Number Of The Beast/Run To The Hills/Hallowed Be Thy Name ・Brain Reform: The Trooper ・Power Slave: 2 Minutes To Midnight・Somewhere in Time: Heaven Can Wait ・The Seventh Prophecy: Can I Play With Madness/The Evil That Men Do/The Clairvoyant ・No Player for the Dying: Tailgunner/Bring Your Daughter...To The Slaughter/Fear of the Dark: Be Quick Or Be Dead/From Here To Eternity/Wasting Love/Afraid To Shoot Strangers/Fear Of The Dark...and so on. ``LIVE AT DONINGTON'' is said to be one of the most well-balanced sets in MAIDEN's history, and this work also perfectly sums up the golden era while interweaving standard and rare songs. And what is important is the performance itself that spells out the set. Anyway, it's high tension and has a good vibe. In 1992, there were many shows in South America that were full of Latin music with large audiences, and on this day as well, they were going to be in Venezuela for the first time, and the momentum was amazing. What's more, the ensemble, which has become accustomed to large-scale tours, does not collapse even when there is too much momentum, and Bruce, who has not yet decided to withdraw, is also wonderful at throwing his best. Unfortunately, the cheers are far away and the sound board is small, so you can't really feel the excitement of the big crowd, but the mood is clear from the blues voices shouting "Venezuela!" and "Caracas!!" here and there, and the laughter at the tremendous reaction. is transparent. “Fear Of The Dark” is especially amazing. Bruce, who has already begun singing, tells the crowd, "Don't push, stand back. Please stand back, please." It was an abnormal situation that did not settle down easily after that, and ended up being a semi-instrumental version. After that, Europe and North America entered the great dark age of HR/HM. IRON MAIDEN lost Bruce Dickinson, who tried to find a way out in other music, and moved on to the Blaze Bayley era. The reason the champion IRON MAIDEN was able to survive even in such difficult times was because of its popularity in South America. What is contained in this work is the great performance that created that tremendous support. A soundboard album that lets you fully enjoy the last brilliance of the Golden Age with a sound that is far from the so-called "South American quality". Soundboard recording of "October 10, 1992 Caracas performance (Venezuela)". There was no Spanish-speaking DJ, which is common in South American broadcasts, and the well-balanced mix had an official feel. In the first place, the essential official products "LIVE AT DONINGTON" and "A REAL LIVE DEAD ONE" are so vivid that you can't believe they are official, so it is a soundboard album that feels like "A REAL South America ONE". What is important is the high tension performance for the first time in Venezuela. The ensemble, which has become accustomed to large-scale tours, does not collapse even when it is overpowered, and Bruce, who has not yet decided to withdraw, is also wonderful at throwing his best. In “Fear Of The Dark”, the blues tells the crowd, “Don’t push, get back. Step back, please,” and you can enjoy the unusual excitement that becomes a semi-instrumental version.
