The fourth installment of the sound source series "DEFINITIVE YEARS"! (Disc 1) is a recording of the Milan performance on October 30th from the warm-up tour held for Bruce Dickinson, who had just joined the band in 1981. At the end of the "Killers" tour, the young Bruce sings all the songs from the Paul Di'Anno era. The performance is both valuable and satisfying, with the aggressive super-fast tempo and relaxed high tones of the Di'Anno era, as well as the blues versions of "Purgatory," "Twilight Zone," and "Innocent Exile." The following (Disc 2) and (Disc 3) are the legendary recordings from the 1983 "Piece Of Mind" tour, the Hammersmith Odeon performance on May 26th, which was once traded as a soundboard recording. In Japan, incomplete and degraded sound sources have been circulating, but this time we used a completely different complete high quality master, and further stabilized the somewhat unstable bass throughout the entire work, and adjusted the pitch just right. This is a reprint with the best existing finish, worthy of the legendary name. From the intro phrase of "Where Eagles Dare", which serves as the calling card of new drummer Nick McBrain, the way the new world of Maiden, scaled up to a massive scale, spreads out all at once is overwhelming. The performance that runs up the stairs to world domination is hot to the end, and in "Live After Death", Bruce, who could not hide his fatigue, roars with a voice reminiscent of the peak of his career. And (Disc 4) & (Disc 5) are complete recordings of the Paris performance on October 30, 1990 from the "No Prayer For The Dying" tour. Yannick, who was called "Ritchie Blackmore's successor" in GILLAN, joined the band, and all the members ran around, inspired by his aggressive playing, in a high-tension live performance that is still talked about among enthusiasts. Bruce, who experienced his first solo activity, also showed great clarity, and the chorus of "Run To The Hills", which stretches out pleasantly, loudly appealed to the band's long-awaited revival, and even when listening from Hammersmith to the end, you don't feel the passage of time. All three performances, which are full of tension and debut the new members, are recorded in the best recordings that are sure to represent the tour, and are all available on 5CD-R.
