The number 1 live album from the “Magic Mark” era is here! If you were to ask, ``What is the best work of IRON MAIDEN?'', various names would come up, such as ``Maiden of Steel,'' ``Power Slave,'' and ``The Seventh Prophecy,'' but the most likely candidate would be ``Iron Maiden.'' Stamp”. After all, it ranked #1 in NME's ``Best British Album of the Past 60 Years'' survey commemorating Queen Elizabeth's 60th year on the throne. No. 1 in all genres since 1952, not in “MAIDEN” or “Metal”. It is truly a masterpiece representing Britain. This work is the number one audience recorded with 100% of IRON MAIDEN, who created such a historical masterpiece. Before revealing the true nature of this work, let’s start with the audience circumstances of “BEAST ON THE ROAD 1982”. Although it is an extremely popular tour, the audience situation is actually not very good. Of course, I have introduced a number of powerful recordings so far, but that is “in “BEAST ON THE ROAD 1982””. "PRISONER LIVE AT READING" is an outstanding sound source that is "amazing no matter what tour it is!" like "TOKYO 1981 1ST NIGHT" from the Diano era and "EAGLE'S NEST" and "EAGLE'S HAMMERSMITH" from "WORLD PIECE TOUR 1983". FESTIVAL 1982”. This work is the No. 1 album that has surpassed the Reading Festival recording, rather than being on par with it! The true identity of this work is “March 9, 1982 Oxford Performance”. If you're thinking "Huh?" at this point, you're probably an enthusiastic person. This is a recording that has been known for some time for ``DEFINITIVE YEARS II'' and others. Of course, it has been one of the most powerful recordings of the tour for some time, but in recent years, Gene's young master quality version has appeared. The ferocious clarity and direct feeling are as amazing as a radio broadcast, and the roar of the beast Bruce Dickinson and the gallop bass of Steve Harris are ear-catching. Dave Murray and Adrian Smith's twin drums don't mix together, and Clive Burr's drums are so clear that you can almost see the structure of the kit. On top of that, the hot hot air of 1982 is also vacuum packed. Although I thought "Is it a noisy recording..." due to the screaming and uproar of the audience that pops out at the beginning, the direct feeling of the musical sound is so strong that it overwhelms them all at once. It's already on a completely different level from previous releases such as "DEFINITIVE YEARS II". It quickly became one of the tour's masterpieces, along with the Reading recording. On the contrary, it is a super sound rarely seen in MAIDEN history, comparable to "EAGLE'S NEST" and "EAGLE'S HAMMERSMITH", which are treated as "IRON MAIDEN boot icons". This work is a further brush-up of that master using the latest mastering technology. Although the original sound of the new master boasts tremendous quality, the biggest drawback is the pitch. Overall, it was quite high, and even during the song it was going crazy randomly (on the contrary, even if it was that crazy, the recording itself was so amazing that it was ranked No. 1 on the tour). In this work, such a pitch is (semi-willfully) corrected. Listen carefully to even the slightest deviations, and keep a close eye on the waveform as you fight. We continued to correct the fluctuating pitch in real time, and also adjusted the balance of each range. This is the best version that was realized with the sole intention of ``Since I am such a powerful master, I must make it the strongest on earth.'' This completed work was truly one of the strongest “BEAST ON THE ROAD 1982”. I wrote earlier that it was ``a masterpiece of the tour, comparable to the Redding recording,'' but that was only at the original sound stage. Through persistent mastering, this work has finally reached the top solo position as the top sound source! The performance of “BEAST ON THE ROAD 1982” that pops out with that sound is amazing! The beats played by Clive maintain the ferocious speed of the Diano era, while also creating a chemical reaction with Dickinson's dynamism. The huge sound world with a sense of scale while giving off the smell of NWOBHM is truly unique to “BEAST ON THE ROAD 1982”. Dickinson is just like the SAMSON era. It's not the rough singing style of the mid-to-late 80's, it's different from the technical style of the 90's and beyond, and it barks and barks in a beast mode! Barking!! “BEAST ON THE ROAD 1982” is a youthful explosion, but this work is especially the 11th performance at the beginning of the tour. Harris says, “I get used to the tour after 5 or 6 times,” but this work is at a time when he is not tired of the tour and has just gotten into the groove. Moreover, since they were in front of their home country fans who knew them, they were energetic, cheerful, and in great shape! It's the performance. In addition to the repertoire from the Diano era, the setlist includes all the songs from ``Magical Mark'' except ``Invaders'' and ``Gangland,'' which is super delicious. The opening of "Murders In The Rue Morgue" is so dramatic and thrilling that it even rivals the later "Aces High," and the atmosphere is reminiscent of a live band with drum solos and guitar solos, "The Prisoner" and "Hallowed Be Thy Name." The dynamics that flow from the three consecutive masterpieces of “Phantom Of The Opera” to “Iron Maiden” are amazing! Furthermore, the encore is also exciting. Speaking of IRON MAIDEN's last number, "Sanctuary," "Running Free," and "Drifter" create a festive atmosphere, but here, on top of all of those promised songs, "Prowler" is thoroughly pressed. You can listen to Tokuno's live performance with the best sound in the history of MAIDEN. Contrary to its popularity, “BEAST ON THE ROAD 1982” had almost no super-quality sound source. This history of poor harvests ended with the release of this product. Live at Apollo Theatre, Oxford, England 9th March 1982 TRULY PERFECT SOUND(UPGRADE) Disc 1 (43:10) 01.
