From the Japan tour held in the spring of 1981, the final day, May 24th, of the Nakano Sun Plaza performance and night performance is recorded from the radio broadcast take at the time. The ultra-high quality air check sound source released by Langley as “Live Killers” in the past reigns in the collector world as a definitive edition, but this edition uses a completely different air check master. As you can tell right away with the first track, Wrathchild, the main feature of this album is the sound, including the cymbal hardware, which has a natural feel that doesn't give you the feeling of equalization, ``that's how it should have sounded originally''. Because the master was directly digitized, the freshness of the sound is outstanding, and the natural attack feeling of the bass and drums is wonderful, and it is a classic that is different from the previous sound image that was maximized and equalized more than necessary. There is no doubt that fans will be greatly intoxicated by the sound of the sound. I checked the original sound source, and what was interesting was that the momentary popping noise in the right channel at 0:14 of Remember Tomorrow, and the rustling noise that can be heard in the MC part before Iron Maiden, were also found in this take. This means that this noise was included in all the sounds during the broadcast. The noise is fine for listening to music, but it's an interesting fact. The perfect stereo line recording of 18 songs, 75 minutes long including intro and outro, boasts the best of the best as an early Maiden live source, making it a must-have take for all fans. Masu. Anyway, once you hear this natural sound image, you probably won't be able to go back to the original sound. Live tape collectors in particular will definitely like this sound. This is a record that shows that the original drums had this kind of sound, and this is the kind of sound they sounded like.Currently, fans can listen to the 1981 Nakano Sunplaza performance FM broadcast sound source with the "most correct sound". This is a must-read title! Live at Nakano Sunplaza, Tokyo, Japan 24th May 1981 Evening Show STEREO SBD(from Original Air Check Masters) 1. DJ Intro. 2. Wrathchild 3. Purgatory 4. Sanctuary 5.
