25 years ago today, a super set celebrating "August 20, 1988" will be urgently released! Under the full supervision of the famous taper Crazy S., the legendary “MONSTERS OF ROCK 1988” has been revived with a “full recording DVD” for the first time! Let's put aside the very moving DVD for a moment and talk about how special this day is. There are many rock attractions around the world, but when it comes to Britain's greatest sacred place, there is no other place than Donington Park. It started with ``MONSTERS OF ROCK'' in 1980, and although it has now changed to ``DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL,'' it continues to be the venue for ``Britain's largest rock festival.'' The band that boasts the honor of being the ``most headliners'' at this sacred place is our IRON MAIDEN! The day MAIDEN first visited the sacred place was the “9th MONSTERS OF ROCK” held 25 years ago today! This year is not only its 25th anniversary; Until last year, they had tied the record with AC/DC and METALLICA with 4 headliners, but with their appearance at this year's DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL 2013 (2nd day), they now have the single highest number of 5 headliners. It shined. Furthermore, this year, they are in the middle of a tour to recreate 1988 in conjunction with the reissue of "MAIDEN ENGLAND," and have just held a memorial stage to record and commemorate. There's no better day to celebrate the crown jewels of the British Empire than 20th August 2013! Today, we are introducing "MONSTERS OF ROCK 1988: 25th Anniversary Edition", a superset that lets you enjoy every detail of the historic live show where their glory began. First of all, the “WARM UP GIG” disc will appear three days after the appearance of “Fateful Donnington”. A two-disc set in which Crazy S. brilliantly captured the secret gig held under the pseudonym "CHARLOTTE & THE HARLOTS." It is a famous recording that was previously released as "SEVENTH SON OF QUEEN MARY" and is also known as one of the best sound quality of "7th Tour Of A 7th Tour", but this time it is remastered with the latest technology from the original tape owned by Crazy S. We also matched it with the actual Donnington recording. Even though it's a warm-up, MAIDEN at the time had just overrun the United States a week ago. With just the right amount of rest in between, they will be performing at their best, with a sense of nervousness as they prepare for the big stage. Because it was set to the opening S.E., it starts out a bit explosive, but it quickly improves. You can enjoy the best live performance with a wonderful sound that lives up to the name "master record / masterpiece recording". Next up is “DONINGTON” Disc 1 & 2, which contains the actual performance and historic stage. Also recorded by Crazy S., it was released as ``MONSTERS OF ROCK 1988'' and received worldwide acclaim. This has also been mastered from the original tape to the "WARM UP GIG" disc to create a permanent preservation press CD that has been long-awaited by enthusiasts! Compared to "WARM UP GIG," which had ultra-high sound quality due to its small venue, this one delivered a much better sound quality. And finally, the highlight! A DVD with a full recording of the Donnington stage!! 25 years since the legendary MONSTERS OF ROCK, the day has finally come to witness it with your own eyes! The video is a screenshot taken by an audience camera, and the sound board audio that was also used in the official version is overlaid. The video, produced with lots of love by overseas enthusiasts, is truly a masterpiece. When you start playing it, you may find yourself wondering, ``Is this what it's like?'' due to the shaky angle and blurry screen at dusk. However, from the second song, "The Evil That Men Do," the photographer gave up on filming directly on stage (lol) and concentrated on the screen, and as the sun went down, the colors on the screen became much better. Bruce Dickinson's bird-watching, as if challenging the large audience, and Steve Harris' finger movements and facial expressions as he hums the lyrics are also perfect. Coupled with the official sound, which is much higher quality than normal broadcasts, it is just like a professional shot. When I see the pillars of the screen at the edge of the screen, I remember thinking, ``Oh, now that I think about it, it was an audience image.'' Songs and intervening MCs for which no soundboard is left are supplemented with Crazy S.'s audience recordings to create a complete version. I can't say that it doesn't feel strange at the moment the audio changes, but I'm surprised that I don't feel disappointed even when I listen to them side by side. It is also the moment when you realize the awesomeness of Crazy S. recording, which is called “sound board class”. The MC complemented by the audience recording is one of the biggest highlights. Donnington on this day is also known as the “tragedy festival” where two people died when GUNS N’ ROSES performed, but after “Wrathchild” the audience was asked to cool down. Dickinson speaks professionally with a somber expression on his face...it's a famous historical scene whose weight is only felt when it's filmed. In addition, Dickinson shows off his acting skills in "Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son," and the climax rushes forward with "Iron Maiden," where the members lock shoulders as if to confirm their emotions, saying, "We've finally made it to Donnington." MAIDEN There are many moving scenes that can only be found in videos, such as ``Sanctuary,'' which features finger puppets that were the basis for ``ENGLAND.'' After the performance, it's still too early to press the stop button when it gets dark! At the end, Donnington's specialty, the impressive fireworks, is also included. Donnington, with no housing nearby, is pitch black once the festival ends. The beautiful fireworks that will be launched there will perfectly mark the end of the festival. While watching a large amount of fireworks (too many, lol), British rock fans regret the passing of summer, thinking to themselves, ``This year is over.'' This sense of the season is the authentic "Donnington atmosphere." Until now, there have been various bands' "Live At Donington" officially and unofficially, but has there ever been a DVD that conveys the atmosphere so beautifully? A magnificent spectacle that transcends time and space and travels to Donington a quarter of a century ago. When you return to the menu screen after watching the entire movie, I hope you can feel why I chose “Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son” for BGV. A volume set containing the historic show in 5 hours 46 minutes 38 seconds, including the warm-up gig. It is completed with a super definitive press specification suitable for the 25th anniversary! A moving work that will be etched not only in records and commemorations, but also in memories. For a final summer memory, why not transform your room into Donington Park?
