Speaking of the 1982 Hammersmith performance, the pro shots are also famous. Therefore, we have prepared an extended version that is much longer than the official DVD. This work includes the "March 20, 1982 Hammersmith Performance". This show was shot with a pro shot and has been known since the old video era. However, only about half of the nine songs were officially made into a DVD with "THE EARLY DAYS" in 2004. This work is an extended version created by overseas enthusiasts who could not stand such incomplete combustion, making full use of existing materials. The "existing materials" include "THE EARLY DAYS", the documentary work "12 WASTED YEARS", VHS bootlegs, and the official CD "BEAST OVER HAMMERSMITH". This work is based on the nine songs of "THE EARLY DAYS", and combines four songs from "12 WASTED YEARS" and VHS bootlegs. Still, the still images of "Another Life", "Killers", "Transylvania / Guitar Solo", "Phantom Of The Opera" and "Prowler" are covered with the perfect soundboard of the CD "BEAST OVER HAMMERSMITH" to reproduce the full show (by the way, it is "almost" because only the drum solo was cut. This drum solo was not included in "BEAST OVER HAMMERSMITH", and no pro shots have been found. Although the audience recording is barely left, the mania who produced this work seems to have avoided the discomfort of inserting a drum solo with an extremely different sound). The pro shots that the maniacs created with such difficulty are truly inspiring. The VHS bootleg part is particularly wonderful. Of course, it does not reach the official quality of "THE EARLY DAYS" and "12 WASTED YEARS", but Gene's young master is much more beautiful than the one that was once available in Japan. Moreover, the thoughtfulness of the scenes where they wait for the encore is also a delight, making it the best possible video available today. After all, this show is the pinnacle of IRON MAIDEN. It's a video that long-time fans have been wanting to see so much that their eyes will come out of their throats instead of their hands. "The Magic Seal," which welcomed Bruce Dickinson, strongly appealed to the new IRON MAIDEN, and it was the same in live performances. Until then, there were only staff wearing smoking death masks and Eddie masks, but in "THE BEAST ON THE ROAD," characters such as Red Satan and Miss Charlotte were added, and in "Iron Maiden," a giant stilt-walking Eddie finally made his first appearance! This was also the tour where Eddie surpassed human beings for the first time, and the style that continues to this day was born. While the performance still has a strong NWOBHM scent, you can see the moment when he broke through the framework. "THE BEAST ON THE ROAD" was a major turning point for IRON MAIDEN and is remembered alongside other historic albums. Live at Hammersmith Odeon, London, England 20th March 1982 PRO-SHOT 1.
