"FEAR OF THE DARK" has been touted as "the greatest masterpiece since the seal of magic". The release of this classic pro shot set has been decided! There are various pro shots from this era, including official works, but Italy was particularly abundant. This work is also a compilation of all the Italian pro shots. First of all, let's organize the pro shots from the tours of this era, "FEAR OF THE DARK TOUR 1992" and "REAL LIVE TOUR 1993". "FEAR OF THE DARK TOUR 1992" ・July 25th, 1992: Buenos Aires ・August 22nd, 1992: Donington *Official VHS/LD ・September 12th, 1992: Reggio Emilia [Disc 1 of this work] ・October 2nd, 1992: Mexico City "REAL LIVE TOUR 1993" ・May 1st, 1993: Rome [Disc 2 of this work] ・May 9th, 1993: Milan [Disc 2 of this work] ・June 4th, 1993: Moscow ・August 28th, 1993: London *Official VHS/LD In addition to these, there are also live footage intertwined with interviews and a few minutes of professional shots, but these eight are the main ones. Of course, Donington and London are available on the official works "DONINGTON LIVE 1992" and "RAISING HELL". This is a huge production that is different from "NO PRAYER ON THE ROAD '90-91", which only had a few songs. Among such a huge production, the Italian pro shots included in this work are particularly famous and classic masterpieces. Let's introduce each disc. [Disc 1: Reggio Emilia performance on September 12, 1992] The first disc, Disc 1, is the "FEAR OF THE DARK TOUR 1992". It contains the television broadcast when they performed as the main act at the "Italian version of MONSTERS OF ROCK". Unfortunately, it is not a full recording of the show, but it is a multi-camera pro shot that represents the "FEAR OF THE DARK" era in both quality and quantity. This is also really wonderful. As mentioned above, there are two official works, but IRON MAIDEN's true talent lies in this work. In fact, the official product "DONINGTON LIVE 1992" has a strange video processing that is annoying, and "RAISING HELL" is a collaboration with a magician, so the performance is tattered. Both were painful and itchy. That's why enthusiasts who want the "original MAIDEN" have continued to love this video. It is filled with the passionate performance and quality that suits it. In this work, the highest grade master was used even for such a classic live. In addition, at the end of this disc, the pro shot "ROCK POP TV SHOW on November 8, 1980" from the Paul Di'Anno era is also included as a bonus. [Disc 2: Milan performance on May 9, 1993] Instead, disc 2 is the "REAL LIVE TOUR 1993" edition. This is also based on the classic Milan performance, known as a masterpiece video, and two pro shots from the Rome performance in Italy are also included as bonuses. In 1992, the Italian performance was only once in Reggio Emilia on Disc 1, but in 1993, a large-scale tour of 10 performances was realized to make up for it. The Milan performance was the last day, and the Rome performance was the fifth performance. The highlight is, of course, the main Milan performance. The quality is close to Disc 1, but the set is delicious. This "REAL LIVE TOUR" is also notable for reviving the old repertoire, and this disc also features three consecutive hits from the Diano era: "Prowler", "Transylvania", and "Remember Tomorrow". In particular, "Prowler" and "Remember Tomorrow" cannot be seen on Disc 1, let alone the official products "DONINGTON LIVE 1992" and "RAISING HELL". It is a valuable multi-camera pro shot of Bruce singing the Diano era just before leaving the band. Bruce is noteworthy in the opposite sense. For Bruce, who had already announced his departure, the "REAL LIVE TOUR" was just a dead end, and both Nicko McBrain and Steve Harris were furious at his lack of enthusiasm. The image of Bruce seen on this disc is proof of that. As the show progressed, he clearly moved less, and at the end he stood stiffly on the drum riser, inciting the audience with just his gestures. His singing was also somewhat careless and "not in his heart." It was because I watched it continuously from the Reggio Emilia performance on disc 1, which was a truly passionate performance, that I was stunned by the difference. And in place of Bruce (?), our Eddie went wild! In "The Clairvoyant," stilt-walking Eddie appears, and his headbanging is more intense than ever! He bangs so much that his neck comes off!!! The man inside shook his torn head even more, whether he knew it or not. It was an intense and passionate performance. "FEAR OF THE DARK TOUR 1992" and "REAL LIVE TOUR 1993" marked the end of the first blues period. Although there have been a series of official live performances, this is still a must-see masterpiece pro shot. Not only is it a representative view of each tour, but it is also a great way to collect "Italian pro shots" in one. Please take this opportunity to enjoy it!
