"NO PRAYER ON THE ROAD '90-91" is a hidden gem in the IRON MAIDEN records. A luxurious 4-disc set coupling the best footage is now available! MAIDEN is a band with strong sound sources / images in each era, but this "NO PRAYER ON THE ROAD '90-91" is an exception. Not only has it been ignored by the official side, but there is no full sound board or professional shot. Even in such an unfortunate situation... it is because they are not blessed that maniacs around the world are struggling to find "Which is the top record?" This work is a collection of the best footage selected by such maniacs. This work contains three audience shots and one compilation of valuable professional shots. Let's introduce each one right away. [Disc 1: Stockholm performance on November 10, 1990] Disc 1 is the favorite right away. This is the best audience shot that MAIDEN completers call "Tour No. 1". Seven types of footage are known from this Stockholm performance, most of which are representative of the tour. Among them, this work uses "Version 5", which is highly praised as the apex quality. It is the top of the top, digitized directly from the original master. The quality is certainly amazing. At the beginning, it seems like an ordinary audience shot, but when the performance starts and the angle stabilizes, a magnificent view spreads. It is an angle looking down from a 45-degree angle on the right side of the stage (Janick Gers side), but there are almost no obstructions, probably because it is shot from the second floor seats. It is an excellent viewpoint that looks directly at the stage. Although there is a little distance, the bold zoom that makes you forget about it is also wonderful. The camera work that does not miss any highlights, and no matter how close you get, the stability is minimal with minimal camera shake. In 1990, video cameras were still in their infancy, but it seems that the master was very used to shooting. The show depicted with that beautiful imagery is the wonderful world of "NO PRAYER ON THE ROAD". Unfortunately, the latter half of "Heaven Can Wait" and "Sanctuary" were not filmed properly, so the recording is not complete, but there are plenty of precious songs and scenes. The biggest highlight is the giant edit of "Iron Maiden"! People tend to think that this tour is only about the stilt-walking edit, but that's a misunderstanding. The "NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING" edition is prepared, and it appears by breaking through a giant sarcophagus! You can witness a powerful scene like "LIVE AFTER DEATH" with no obstructions. Another must-see is "2 Minutes To Midnight". It starts well, but after a while, Bruce Dickinson's voice can't be heard... It seems that there was a quarrel with the audience in the front row, and he comes to the edge of the stage and gets into some kind of fight. His gesture that seems to say "Come on, you" is rare, but the audience is also shown responding to it and provoking him in the same way! As expected, it is a masterpiece that maniacs choose. It is not just of the highest quality, but also a masterpiece video. [Disc 2: December 3, 1990 Munich Performance] Although the master direct image was beautiful, unfortunately the disc 1 had a few cuts. The Munich performance on disc 2 calms that "what a pity!" feeling. Although this is one step behind disc 1 in terms of image quality and freshness, the complete recording of the show is still wonderful. Contrary to disc 1, it is an oblique shot from the left side of the stage (Dave Murray side), and it is a direct view that is not disturbed by the shadows of the front row. In addition, it is a powerful shot that uses a lot of zoom more than disc 1. The full show drawn with that quality is amazingly rare. Especially valuable are the new songs "Public Enema Number One", "Holy Smoke", "No Prayer For The Dying", etc., which were only played on this tour and have been completely ignored since then. In particular, "The Assassin" and "Hooks In You" are limited to the European leg of the first half of the tour. It is a wave attack of rare songs that are rare even in MAIDEN history. If the set is rare, the appearance of MAIDEN playing it is also rare. The front four are going wild with a simple stage set that went back to the origin. Even now, Yannick, Bruce, and Steve show off their intense actions, but here Dave also runs from left to right. This hustle is "NO PRAYER ON THE ROAD". You can experience plenty of scenes that are only available on this tour. [Disc 3: Philadelphia performance on January 29, 1991] The third is the best audience in Philadelphia from the North American leg. If Disc 1 is the apex image of Europe, this is the apex image of North America. Disc 2 is close to Munich, and the best view of the stage directly from the second floor seats on the left side of the stage (Dave's side). In the opening "Tailgunner", there is a shadow that crosses in front of the camera, but it disappears immediately and a wonderful view spreads across the screen. Although "The Assassin" and "Hooks In You" have already fallen, the set is tight and the performance is more than enough. The blues is especially wonderful. The high notes that gradually disappeared from the mid-1980s stretch out comfortably. While keeping a thick and powerful voice that is different from the delicacy after rejoining, he decides to hit the high note of "Run To The Hills". This is the encore after singing a lot in the show of the second half of the tour. It is a great performance that is comparable to "BEAST ON THE ROAD 1982" and "WORLD PIECE TOUR 1983". It is a great regret that this voice could not be officially recorded. It is a vocalization that only maniacs who even dare to record the audience know. [Disc 4: Pro Shot Collection] As mentioned above, there is no full pro shot of "NO PRAYER ON THE ROAD". However, there are short and detailed pro shots. The last disc, Disc 4, is a compilation that covers all of these professional shots. The contents are diverse. There are official professional shots, interviews with live footage, TV commercials, etc. ... It has a wide variety of programs, including 10 types of programs that capture even a small amount of professional shot live footage. Especially great are the Japanese programs "IRON MAIDEN SPECIAL" and "ROSKILDE FESTIVAL 1991". The former is a program that combines professional shot live and interviews with Japanese subtitles. The comments of the members who are burning with enthusiasm when they resume their activities are directly conveyed. And the must-sees are the live performances of "Public Enema Number One" and "Hallowed Be Thy Name". In particular, "Public Enema Number One" is the only continuous multi-camera professional shot. It has been a long time since it was played, so it is a super valuable professional shot that will never be seen again. Another super beautiful official professional shot is "ROSKILDE FESTIVAL 1991". Although there are only two songs, "Run To The Hills" and "Sanctuary", this is the only way to see the raging "NO PRAYER ON THE ROAD" stage in official quality. Three superb audience shots that even maniacs recognize, and one valuable professional shot collection. It is a masterpiece that lasts a total of 6 hours, 24 minutes, and 52 seconds. Some people may not know about "NO PRAYER ON THE ROAD '90-91" because "there is no official ..." or "I don't know which one to watch ...". However, the contents are active, sweaty, and NWOBHM metal heaven. Please take this opportunity to thoroughly enjoy it!
