"Somewhere on Tour" is a hidden place that has been overlooked from the official archive. The only full soundboard/pro shot is now available in a luxurious 3-disc set. This work includes the "November 29, 1986 Paris performance". This is a set of the soundboard recording and one-camera pro shot. As Steve Harris, the boss, acknowledges, the "SOMEWHERE IN TIME" era was the least pro-recorded period in the 1980s. Although Steve himself wanted to shoot every tour, his manager Rod Smallwood did not take it seriously, saying, "You just released the resurrection of the dead." Rod later regretted this decision, and that reflection became the origin of the current "The Future Past Tour." Although it is such a "Somewhere on Tour," it is not that there are no pro shots. Although it is not at the official level, there are two performances, one in Paris and one in Philadelphia. And the more important one is the "Paris performance." In order to explain the meaning, let's take a bird's-eye view of the activities at that time and check the positional relationship between the two performances. 1986 September 10-25: Europe #1 (12 performances) "SOMEWHERE IN TIME" released on September 29th October 3-November 9: UK (27 performances) November 12-December 18: Europe #2 (27 performances) ←★Here★ 1987 January 7-May 2: North America (79 performances) ←※PHILADELPHIA May 11-21: Japan (7 performances) Full pro shot / sound board with plenty of rare songs This is IRON in 1986 / 1987 MAIDEN. The Philadelphia footage was released in 1987, but the Paris performance of this work was "Europe #2" before the year. It was the 13th performance. The reason why the Paris footage beats the Philadelphia footage is its length. The Philadelphia footage was incomplete at about 76 minutes, but the Paris footage is the full set complete version (strictly speaking, it is missing 7 seconds, but this will be discussed later). Moreover, the "Europe" leg has more rare songs than North America / Japan. Let's check out the wonderful set contents here. Somewhere in Time and others (5 songs + α) ・ Caught Somewhere In Time (★) / Sea Of Madness (★★*) / Stranger In A Strange Land / Wasted Years / Walking In The Air (★) / Heaven Can Wait Classics (9 songs) ・ Diano era: Phantom Of The Opera / Iron Maiden (*) / Running Free / Sanctuary (*) ・ Magical Seal: Children Of The Damned / Hallowed Be Thy Name (*) / The Number Of The Beast / Run To The Hills Power Slave: 2 Minutes To Midnight / Rime Of The Ancient Mariner *Note: The "★" mark indicates a song for which there is no official soundboard. In particular, the "★★" mark indicates a unique soundboard take. The "*" mark indicates a song that was not included in the other pro shot "CAUGHT SOMEWHERE IN PHILADELPHIA". ...And so it is. The soundboards of "Caught Somewhere In Time" and "Stranger In A Strange Land", which are also popular in the current "The Future Past Tour", are dizzying, but the best part is "Sea Of Madness"! A phantom masterpiece that was dropped by the "Europe" leg and has not been played at all since then. Of course, it was not played in Philadelphia, and this work is a unique soundboard / pro shot regardless of whether it is official or unofficial. Furthermore, the unique "Iron Maiden" is the most important song in which the giant Eddie appears, but in fact, this is not included in the Philadelphia video. You can see the "Stage Enveloping Cyborg Eddie", which has not been reprinted in the later "Somewhere Back in Time Tour" or the current "The Future Past Tour", in a pro shot. A 3-disc set of footage/albums to fully enjoy the best masters: This work is the definitive edition of such a treasure, "Paris Pro Shot". It is a 3-disc set that includes not only the best master's pro shot DVD, but also a full live album with the sound board audio extracted. First, the DVD version. I think you may have seen it on some occasions, as it is a very classic one-camera pro shot, but this work is the best master. On certain video sites, there are versions that are more vivid than this work, but in fact this work is the original master. It was before it was digitally highlighted, and although the coloring is somewhat dark and at first glance, the details that were crushed by processing remain firmly. The fineness of the long hair that is shaking and the wrinkles in the costume are obvious when you compare them. And this work is also the best audio sound board. In fact, in recent years, a different master from this work has become a standard on the Internet, but it is flat and has poor sound quality, and the details are round and fluffy. This work is much clearer. This work also includes a soundboard album that makes use of the sound, but it is not just a simple extraction. The seven seconds at the end of "Heaven Can Wait", which was missing in the video version, are also complemented by the best audience recording on the same day. It has realized a "truly complete live album". The one and only "Sea Of Madness", the 80's potential "Caught Somewhere In Time" and "Stranger In A Strange Land", and "Iron Maiden" where you can witness the giant cyborg Eddie. This is the definitive set of full soundboards / pro shots of the extremely valuable "Somewhere on Tour". The tingly noise still remains, so it was introduced by the Shades label, but the rareness and fun of this 3-disc set will blow away the press titles out there. This is a 3-disc set that includes the soundboard recording/one-camera pro shot of the "November 29, 1986 Paris performance". The only full pro shot best master of "Somewhere on Tour" is used, and the soundboard sound is made into a live album. The complete version of "Heaven Can Wait", which was missing only 7 seconds, is also supplemented by the audience recording on the same day. This is an absolute work full of rare highlights and listening points, such as the soundboard of "Sea Of Madness" and the pro shot of the giant cyborg Eddie.
