"COMPLETE BEAT-CLUB 1981" was a huge impact in IRON MAIDEN's history...no, it shook the music genre "Heavy Metal." The longest and highest peak multi-camera pro shot from the Paul Di'Anno era, that super masterpiece that shocked metal players around the world has been decided to be released on DVD! [Shocking video that significantly updates the No. 1 record in the Diano era] "COMPLETE BEAT-CLUB 1981" is a super-excellent video title that became a huge hit as soon as it was released. This is the best professional shot of the famous West German TV program "BEAT-CLUB" taken on "Bremen, January 22, 1981". This program is also famous for the masterpiece videos of various bands/artists, and the IRON MAIDEN edition has become a standard with many air check titles. However, this work is fundamentally different from such previous releases. This is an unedited version of the master that was recently discovered, and it recorded over an hour of scenes that were played on that day, regardless of the approximately 30-minute program slot. Famous songs that could not be seen on the broadcast were shown for the first time, and the quality was top-notch. Its density and volume easily surpassed even the traditional official work “LIVE AT THE RAINBOW”, and it was undoubtedly the No. 1 video in the Diano era. The impact is still traveling around the world at this very moment, but this work is one of the finest images of the century that will be preserved forever. It is a big decision board contained in DVD. Before we talk about the details of the shock, first let's talk about the show's position. Let's look back at the flow from Adrian Smith's joining to Deano's departure. ●1980《November: Dennis leaves → Adrian joins》・November 21st - December 21st: UK (13 performances) ●1981・January 22nd: BEAT-CLUB appearance ←★Coco★《February 2 "KILLERS" released in Japan》 February 17th - April 29th: Europe #1 (64 performances) May 21st - May 24th: Japan (5 performances) June 3rd - August 4th : North America (42 performances) - August 15th - September 10th: Europe #2 (13 performances) [October: Paul leaves → Bruce joins] This is an overview of the "Diano/Adrian" era. Until now, “BEAT-CLUB” has been known as “April 29th”, but this is probably the broadcast date. This time, it turned out that the recording was in January, just before the release of "KILLERS". This was the first live show in 1981, and it was the “next” to “LIVE AT THE RAINBOW”, which was also the last stage in 1980. [Complete collection of super rare songs and super real troubles] The content engraved on this new excavated master is truly a series of shocks. The most amazing thing is the unaired performance scene. Four songs, “Charlotte The Harlot,” “Transylvania,” “Running Free,” and “Killers,” are appearing for the first time, and “Remember Tomorrow” and “Sanctuary” include the OK takes that were broadcast, as well as retakes that were rejected. That's what I'm doing. The two songs “Charlotte The Harlot” and “Running Free” were not seen even on the official “LIVE AT THE RAINBOW”, and “Charlotte The Harlot” in particular had no professional shots/soundboard available until now. A very rare song (“THE EARLY DAYS” was also an AUD shot). It is truly a treasure video. The dead take “Remember Tomorrow #1” was a shock that made even such treasures blur. At first, the performance started smoothly, but after about two minutes, an unusual noise came from Diano's microphone. The performance would then be stopped. This scene is incredibly graphic. Although it was like a concert with the audience in the station's studio, it was definitely a cherry on top. Deano simply explained, ``The equipment broke down,'' but the atmosphere was tense and there was no connection between the two. Each member had a beer in hand and was smiling bitterly as if to say, ``Wow!'' or ``Wow!'', while Deano was deep in conversation with the staff on the side of the stage. This work has an uncut and unedited rawness even between songs, but this scene is unprecedented. The “TV recording scene” is realistically shown, which is completely different from a concert filled with excited fans. Although it is a series of extremely rare songs, intense performances, and unusual scenes, the true value of this work is not there. It is the quality that permeates everything that is shocking. After all, the person who discovered this master was BEAT-CLUB himself. Not only is there no problem with the Air Check Master so far, there is no dubbing trace, but the freshness of the product has been stored in a warehouse for many years and has not been recycled, so there is no deterioration. The best professional shots are often described as "official grade," but this work is not the official grade that was the standard at the time. It is of transcendental quality that can be officially released by modern digital standards. This is an ultra-excellent professional shot that transcends the dimension of a single band and is a cultural heritage of NWOBHM and a monument of the music genre "Heavy Metal". It was truly a blessing in 2018 to be able to come across such a video. Beat Club, Bremen, Germany 22nd January 1981 PRO-SHOT (64:14) 1. Ides Of March 2. Prowler 3.
