The 4CD is the ultimate form of a studio rare track collection. It is the highest peak update board with more content than the previous edition. However, in order to achieve the ultimate perfection, it was necessary to eliminate "too detailed takes". Of course, it is the nature of collectors to love the corners of the box like kittens, and it is also the best part of rare tracks. For such deep maniacs, we have prepared a final piece. This work is engraved with 16 official rare tracks. Of course, it is a maniacal super-excellent stereo soundboard collection that was not included in the official album or the super-volume 4CD. It is best to introduce it individually to see how much of a corner of the box it is. Let's get started! Further alternative versions (5 songs) As with the 4CD, this work is recorded in sections rather than chronological order. The opening is "another version". It is not that they could not fit into the 4CD, but there is a reason why they were not enough. First of all, "Churchill's Speech/Aces High (Clip Version)". This is "Aces High" with Churchill's familiar speech. In the main press 4CD, the "Camp Chaos Version" with the flight sound was permanently preserved, but this one simply had the speech attached. It was removed from the press because it was famous and did not overlap with the performance. The same goes for the second song, "Out Of The Silent Planet (Promo Clip Version)". It is a long version with cheers added for the live video PV, but the processing is not so good. After the song (single edit) is played normally, a call of "Maiden! Maiden!" is suddenly heard. This is also included in this work because it is meaningless without the live video, regardless of the performance sound. The third, fourth, and fifth tracks are new tracks recorded this time. First, "Paschendale (Sonisphere 2014 Dogfight)". 2014, when they appeared at "SONISPHERE FESTIVAL", was the 100th anniversary of the start of World War I, and to commemorate this, a mock dogfight event was held with replica planes from that time. A promo clip using "Paschendale" was made from this occasion, and it was such a well-crafted piece that it would not have been out of place on the 4CD. However, the machine gun sounds are louder than the music, so it's more like a "documentary with Paschendale as background music" than a different version of Paschendale, and so it was included on this album. The next two songs are new songs from "Tactics." "Stratego (Promo Clip Version)" has a wind sound added to the beginning, but it's a modest piece that doesn't overlap with the performance sounds. "The Writing On The Wall (Promo Clip Version)" also has sound effects added to the beginning and ending, but it's a more subtle mix than the "SFX Version" on the 4CD, so it was included here. Various edit versions (10 songs) The most common version on this album is the edit version, which is a short edit of the original take. During the blues era, there weren't many meaningful edits like "Virus" from the Blades era. Like "The Number Of The Beast (Priceless Edit)," I was attracted by the meaningful credits and looked for a promo version, but it turned out that there was no intro narration, so it was excluded from the 4CD. "The Reincarnation Of Benjamin Breeg" has two types of credits, "Edited Version" and "Rock Club Version," but the content is the same, so only one take was included in this work. Among them, "Holy Smoke (Censored Version)" is extremely rare and very interesting. This is a take only from the ultra-rare 7-inch promo, with two "shit"s cut from the lyrics. The worst part is the way it was cut, which is extremely sloppy. It would be fine if they erased the vocal track from the multi or put a beep sound on it like MEGADETH, but they cut the tape with the backing to shorten it. Of course the beat is out of sync and the processing is also spliced. To be honest, it's a bad take that makes you want to ask, "Is this really an official job?", but it also makes you think of the face of an engineer who cuts corners in response to an annoying request from a radio station. This is a super-maniac and must-listen take, and of course it's recorded in the best version with accurate pitch. Also, the new track in this section is "Running Free (1985 Live Single Edit)". It's the same live performance as "Resurrection of the Dead", but while the original is over 8 minutes long, the early CDs and singles were 3 and a half minutes long versions with significantly less dialogue. This work reprints the single. One guitar-accompanied narration track The last track of this work is a unique acoustic (?) track. It's "Bayswater Ain't A Bad Place To Be", which was the secret of the single "Be Quick Or Be Dead". MAIDEN's singles and promo discs also have a huge number of interviews and a narration track by Nick McBrain, but those are not included in the main press 4CD or this work. Dickinson also speaks for about 8 minutes on this track, but instead of the usual talking, a blues-style guitar is used as backing, and the talk is rap-style. It's a simple walking bass, so it's hard to call it a "song," but it's a take that's just about musical. This is a collection of 16 rare tracks totaling about 76 minutes. Combined with the 4 CDs, it's a super masterpiece collection of about 6 hours and 20 minutes. Despite the huge amount of content, none of the tracks are the same as the original album, and unlike the many compilations already released, it's an album that's "fun to listen to." This is truly the ultimate deep compilation set. IRON MAIDEN - EXTRA RARE TRACKS Bruce Dickinson Years 1982-2022 (76:05) EXTRA ALTERNATE VERSIONS 1.
