IRON MAIDEN, with their heroic frontman Bruce Dickinson, have made a great mark on the history of HR/HM. The ultimate compilation is back! It will be released as the latest complete version in 2024 with even more rare tracks! This work is permanently preserved with 60 tracks, about 5 hours and 4 minutes of studio recordings from the Dickinson era. These are not half-finished demos, but all of them are officially released tracks, but they are treasures that do not overlap with the original studio albums. The previous edition with a similar title released five years ago was a big hit as the definitive edition of rare tracks, but this work is similar but different. It is the latest complete version of the 2024 version, based on that super masterpiece, with even more rare tracks added. This work is not just a collection of rare tracks. It is designed to be enjoyed as a studio work with a structure that follows the concept. Let's take a look at each disc right away. DISC 1-2: Alternate Version Collection (26 takes + 2 new songs)The first thing to appear is the "Alternate Version Collection," which should be called the main feature of this work. It is a collection of famous songs that are familiar from the original album, but in different versions from the regular album. In addition to all the songs from the previous edition, two new tracks have been added, evolving into a complete version. There are several patterns of "alternate versions," so let's take a look at each type. Alternate versions recorded on singlesThe basis of rare tracks is the B-side track of a single. Of course, this work is completely recorded, and here too, Dickinson's re-recorded versions of "Prowler (1988 Re-Recording)" and "Charlotte The Harlot (1988 Re-Recording)," the gorgeous and magnificent "Orchestral Mix," and the "Rock Mix" with a narrower orchestra are also included. The promo single "Rainmaker (Pock iT! Mini CD)" also has a take called "Dance Of Death (Orchestral Version 2)," but while it's credited as "Version 2," the content is actually the same as the "Orchestral Version." There's no point in recording the same version twice, so it's omitted in this work. Another track that is often overlooked is "Wasting Love (Radio Mix)." Although it's credited as an edit on the single, it's a different mix. Rare tracks on unexpected albums that are often overlooked Rare tracks are also lurking on imports, reissues, compilations, etc. For example, the best album "ED HUNTER." The North American version includes "Wrathchild (1999 Re-Recording)" as a hidden track. This is also the first track after Dickinson's return. Also, unlike "NO PRAYER FOR THE DYING," "Bring Your Daughter" is a solo version of the blues song provided for the movie "A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dreamchild." A rare version that has gone unnoticed is the 1998 reissue of "The Assassin." It's a longer version (4:35) than the original (4:16), but it was secretly replaced on the album without credit. Extremely rare track only on the promo version The promo version that was not sold to the general public is also a treasure trove of rare tracks. Especially delicious is "The Wicker Man (Radio Version)" that is only available on the promo CD. With the addition of a chorus of the other members, it is a super must-listen take that is also called "the masterpiece of rare tracks" by enthusiasts. The deepest version is "From Here To Eternity (Demo Version)." This take was recorded on a promo cassette produced by EPIC Records in the United States, but this is not a compilation of MAIDEN alone but of the bands they belong to. Because of this, even core collectors are not aware of it, but this is definitely an official take. Unlike the final version, there is no chorus in the chorus. This is the only analog transcription in this work, but it is recorded in the best version with normal pitch. A different mix for the music video A different mix for the music video has been overlooked in previous rare track collections. It also includes different versions that mix SEs that match the image of the song and cheers in a live style. The coolest one is "Churchill's Speech/Aces High (Camp Chaos Version)". The music video version has always had Churchill's speech, but this version also includes the sound of a flight formation (different from the engine start-up sound used in live performances). In fact, the clip itself was unpopular for its anime-style video, but the sound is said to be "the coolest Aces High" by overseas enthusiasts. This work allows you to enjoy the supreme version as a studio album. In addition, you can't miss the different versions with sound effects overlaid on the recent clips. "Satellite 15 (World Tour Version)" and "The Final Frontier (Director's Cut)" were used as the opening of the tour, and especially "The Writing On The Wall (SFX Version)" is a different version made for the first time in 10 years. This is a new track that was not included in the previous version. The pseudo-live version is cool with its sound effects. It is a type that mixes cheers with clips of live footage, and "Tailgunner (Promo Clip Mix)" is also a new track that was not included in the previous version. A masterpiece of this type is "No More Lies (Promo Clip Mix)". The degree of completion is amazing, with MC and counting added, and conversely, in the chorus, the blues vocal track is deleted to reproduce the dialogue along with the audience's chorus. Furthermore, the sound of the entire performance is also processed to sound like a live performance. Even now, many fans believe that it is a live performance, but in fact it is a studio performance (it matches perfectly when played in sync with the album track). Moreover, this take is now valuable. It has not been made into a DVD and is only released on enhanced CD (a relic of the times). It is a super rare version that is overlooked even on the official channel of the video site. In addition, this PV-type rare track is also delicious to listen to. The PVs are made of masterpieces that represent each era. DISC 1-2 of this work, which compiles them all, can be enjoyed as a "2-disc best album with different versions" even by non-maniacs. DISC 3: Studio Live (8 songs) & Non-album songs (7 songs) Following the collection of different versions are "Studio Live" and "Non-album songs". The "Non-album songs" are mostly playful, but the "Studio Live" is cool. Even Bruce and Yannick focus only on the performance because there is no audience. You can enjoy a live performance with a tremendous tension. This work contains 3 types of studio live sessions and 8 songs. The first is a warm-up rehearsal for the 2000 tour, which was also included in the promo CD "BRAVE NEW WORLD SFX RADIO SPECIAL" broadcast on the radio. The second is from when they appeared on BBC RADIO 1's "LEGENDS SESSION" in 2005. This is the take that was made official as a single from the "A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH" era. The third is a session from the TV program "LIVE FROM ABBEY ROAD" in 2006. Although it was not released as MAIDEN, "Hallowed By Thy Name" was included in the program's compilation DVD "BEST OF SEASON 1". Strictly speaking, this is the only official track, but the session itself is a total of two songs, including "Brighter Than A Thousand Suns". Therefore, this work includes the complete version of the two songs. In the first place, MAIDEN is a band that has a lot of stage live performances, but extremely few studio live performances. In particular, there are only these three types of "official involvement from the blues era", and this work allows you to enjoy all the songs at once. DISC 4: Cover song album (17 songs) The last of this epic work that lasts over five hours is a collection of cover songs. Not only all the singles, but also the complete "Space Truckin'" provided for the 2012 DEEP PURPLE tribute album "Re-MACHINED". This single alone is also the MAIDEN version of "GARAGE INC." and "METAL JUKEBOX". Among them, "Reach Out" can be considered a semi-original. This song was written by Adrian & Nico's side project THE ENTIRE POPULATION OF HACKNEY, and was written by Dave Colwell, a member of that project. Strictly speaking, it is not a cover but a provided song, but since it was not written by a MAIDEN member, it is included here. The following songs "That Girl" and "Juanita" are also from the same project, the former of which was originally released by FM but was released almost simultaneously (three weeks before) with MAIDEN, and the latter of which there is no original recording by MARSHALL FURY. All three of these songs were "friend song covers" written by members of THE ENTIRE POPULATION OF HACKNEY. This is a collection of 60 tracks and about 5 hours and 4 minutes of treasures. The collection includes a "collection of alternative versions" that are as luxurious as a best-of album but different from the originals, a "collection of studio live performances" that are sharper than a normal live album, a "collection of songs not included in the album" that completes the collection, and a "collection of covers" that should have been made into an official album. There are no boring edits to listen to, but instead, this is a treasure trove that thoroughly covers "studio work". It is not just a collection, but a unified sound that was scattered from various sources, and each disc can be enjoyed as a musical work. This is a 4-disc set of super masterpieces that are not just a collection of collections, but have been further expanded and evolved. This super masterpiece, which compiles official rare tracks from the Bruce Dickinson era, has been upgraded. This 4-disc set contains 60 tracks, two more than the previous version, and about 5 hours and 4 minutes of studio recordings that were not included in the album, and all of them are carefully selected and used as the best official sound sources. The discs are divided into "Alternate Version Collection," "Sessions/Unreleased Songs," and "Cover Album," and each disc can be enjoyed as a masterpiece studio album. This is the ultimate definitive edition. Complete Collection of Studio Rare Tracks 1982-1992 / 1999-2022 STEREO SBD ALTERNATE VERSIONS Disc 1 (77:27) 1.
