Graham Bonnet came to Japan again in 1988, teaming up with the "world's fastest" who surpassed even Yngwie. Introducing a miraculous live set where you can experience the two performances in their entirety. This work includes all of IMPELLITTERI's first performances in Japan. The first public audience recording of "July 24, 1988: Tokyo Dome Performance" is on DISC 1 (CD), and the multi-camera pro shot of the familiar "July 17: Power Station Performance" is on DISC 2 (DVD). This is a 2-disc set. Now, let's introduce each one individually. [DISC 1: First appearance audience recording of Tokyo Dome performance] The main feature of this work is the powerful audience recording of “July 24, 1988: Tokyo Dome performance”, which will be released for the first time in the world. In the first place, IMPELLITTERI's first visit to Japan was for only two performances, and so far only the pro shot of the Power Station performance (described below) has been known. Recorded on this disc is the other performance, which took place at the music event “KIRIN DRY GIGS '88,” which featured Billy Joel and Boz Scaggs. I’m overwhelmed with emotion just by being able to listen to another live show from the precious Graham era, but the sound that conveys it is also wonderful. Since "Big Egg" had just opened, the band was a distant recording...I thought that was not the case. Rather, it's a super powerful sound that feels like you're being slapped in the cheek with a sound that hits you right in front of you with no sense of distance. In fact, the drums are so powerful that the sound of the drums sometimes seems to over-peak, but it doesn't crack or make any noise. And the vocals that push through that powerful beat are super clear down to every single word of the lyrics, and Chris' super-fast passages are so beautiful and direct down to every single note that I'm awed by it. The world's fastest playing, which was messy even on the studio version, stands out very clearly without feeling the thick hall sound that is familiar at Tokyo Dome. There is a reason why such a sound was achieved. In fact, this work is one of the master collections that have become a hot topic recently. The collection unearths masterpieces from various venues, but the most shocking one is Tokyo Dome from the 1980s. Yes, it's the same tapered work as KINDOM COME's "TOKYO DOME 1989" and RATT's "TOKYO DOME 1989." If you know these two, you'll probably be familiar with it, but you can taste Graham & Impellitteri with that super direct feeling. [DISC 2: The best version of the familiar POWER STATION pro shot] Now, next is the classic video that you all know. This is a multi-camera professional shot of "July 17, 1988: Power Station Performance". I think the video itself is familiar, but the point here is that many people will be watching it for the first time, and it is the highest quality ever. He is a new master who caused a shock with his solo work “DEFINITIVE TOKYO 1988”. For those who know “DEFINITIVE TOKYO 1988”, it is just a bonus of the new excavation live album (DISC 1), but for those who missed it, this disc will definitely blow your mind. In fact, like the previous version, it is supposed to be an air check recording of TV broadcasts at the time...but you can't really see the layers. At our store, we deliver many of the finest videos by core enthusiasts in Japan, and this work is one of them. However, its high quality is on a different level from the previous masterpieces. The freshness of the car, which has probably never been played, is ultimate, and the colors are vivid, the outlines are super clear, and there is no white line noise or uneven running, and it has a glossy beauty. It's like dropping an official laser disc... No, it's more than that, and I wouldn't doubt it even if someone told me, "It was rebroadcast digitally last year." At our store, ``METALLIC LIVE '84'' and ``POWER LIVE'', which are reprints of ALCATRAZZ's official videos in the highest quality, are also very popular, but this disc is the third super masterpiece along with those. In the 1980s, Graham Bonnet discovered the super geniuses Yngwie Malmsteen and Steve Vai with ALCATRAZZ, and even introduced Chris Impellitteri, the world's fastest player. It would be no exaggeration to say that his talent as a discoverer of guitarists is even greater than that of Ozzy. Among them, IMPELLITTERI has the least records. The biggest shock of this work is DISC 1, which will be released for the first time worldwide, but it is also a complete set (with the highest quality) of the performance in Japan, which was only realized for two performances. A complete set of the first performances in Japan realized during the Graham Bonnet era. Powerful audience recording of “July 24, 1988: Tokyo Dome Performance” + multi-camera pro shot of “July 17: Power Station Performance”. DISC 1's Tokyo Dome recording is an original master that will be released for the first time, and the extremely thick core with zero sense of distance that you can't believe is a dome is amazing. Although DISC 2 is a familiar professional shot, it uses the highest level master of completely official quality. This two-disc set is a world-renowned Japanese rock cultural heritage and a treasure of HR guitar history.
