This DVD contains a complete recording of the "Tommy Vance Tribute" held on March 31, 2006 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, England, sponsored by the charity organization "Teenage Cancer Trust," in master quality and audience recording. This work is a special live performance by Ian Gillan, Scorpions, Judas, and others, which was held as a charity live in tribute to Tommy Vance, who had been a famous host for many years on the British music program "Friday Rock Show." It was a dream night for fans of hard rock and heavy metal from the '70s onwards, with Roger Daltrey and Maiden's Bruce Dickinson also participating. The DVD allows fans to relive the performance with a modern, realistic digital master, and the first performer is Ian Gillan, who has been doing solo work for the first time in a long time this year, appearing under the name "IAN GILLAN & FRIENDS." The opening intro "Second Sight" and the live performance, which features a series of solo hits, are reminiscent of Gillan's golden age in the '80s. The members are Steve Morris and Dean Howard, who collaborated with Gillan in his solo work in the '90s, on twin guitar, Harry James, the drummer of THUNDER, and his friend Roger Glover on bass, making for a luxurious lineup. On disc:2, Bruce Dickinson introduces the Scorpions. Like Gillan, they also have 45 minutes to perform, but this time they perform a condensed live performance for a festival. On disc:3, Judas appears as the headliner. When Roger Daltrey, the main host, announces and leads the band, the excitement in the venue is already at its peak. At the end, Ian Gillan and the others also come on stage again, and the special "Take On The World" is played with a chorus of the venue, bringing the dreamlike moment to a moving conclusion.
