Ian Gillan, who reunited with Purple and embarked on solo activities again, recorded his Manchester performance on May 28th from the UK tour accompanying the release of his solo album "ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE" in 1989 in master quality, pro-shot footage for 70 minutes. First of all, this footage is the official VHS work "LIVE AT THE RITZ '89" released only in the UK at the time, but it went out of print shortly after its release and was in PAL format, so many fans in Japan don't even know of its existence. This title is a DVD version of such a phantom official work, and the footage, which was made using mint quality master VHS and meticulously produced with specialized equipment, is so high quality that it seems like a laser disc. And since it is a solo live performance, the purple numbers are sealed away, and the set is limited to solo albums including the Gillan era and "ACCIDENTALLY ON PURPOSE", and this precious performance only from this period is here in the best quality.
