The live performance of the "Cambodian Relief Concert" in December 1979 was recorded with a superb sound quality stereo soundboard, and the number of songs has been significantly increased, making it a new upgraded version! This charity concert was held at Hammersmith Odeon in London from December 26th to 29th, 1979, in cooperation with Paul McCartney and the Secretary-General of the United Nations, with the aim of relieving Cambodian refugees, who were a global problem at the time. This major concert, which featured Paul's Wings, The Who, Queen, The Clash, and others, was released as a two-disc LP omnibus album in 1981, but only one song by the Blockheads, "Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick," was recorded on it. The superb sound quality stereo soundboard sound source from the outtake master recorded live for this omnibus album was recorded on the same label's previously released "CONCERTS FOR THE PEOPLE OF KAMPUCHEA OUTTAKES plus SYDNEY '81", and this work has been significantly upgraded by adding seven songs broadcast by the BBC in January 2024! The first four songs are from the live performance on December 26-29, 1979, as with the previously released version, and tracks 5, 6, 7, 8, and 11 are from the live performance on December 27, and "Clevor Trevor" is a different day from track 3. And tracks 9 and 10 are from the live performance on August 9 of the same year, and "Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick" is a different live version from the one recorded on the official omnibus album!
