October 8th will be the second day of Huey Lewis & The News' Tokyo performance, their first solo tour in Japan in a while as part of the "Sports 30th Anniversary Tour" commemorating the 30th anniversary of the release of their third album "Sports". A complete recording of the 1 hour 35 minute live performance at Shibuya Public Hall in ultra-high quality audience recording. This high sound quality, this fun, and this super cutting-edge live show has an overwhelming sense of nostalgia. It's been a great live show so far, and it's a heartfelt release following last week's very popular Hall & Oates. Directly uses the digital master obtained directly from the recorder. The recording position is the center of the 6th row, and the localization and proximity of the sound are optimal, and the sound quality is surprisingly high, reproducing the excitement of a live performance. Anyway, since the musical sounds are close, the clapping is recorded with the best sound balance that can be heard from a moderate distance. The first two songs sound like normal high-quality sound, but perhaps because of the sound output from the PA, the sound quality gradually improves, and when I listen to the fourth song, I Want A New Drug, etc., I am stunned. A sound that fills the speakers will fill the speakers. They are a group that has proven their playing ability to begin with, so their performance with such a rich sound (great bass!) and full of groove is truly amazing. It is always the case that the better the sound, the better the performance will sound, but you can enjoy a truly amazing live performance with clear sound that is full of life. As for the live performance, as mentioned above, it was the 30th anniversary of "Sports", so the A-side of the album was played from the beginning with four songs in a row. Following his debut masterpiece Trouble In Paradise and "Sports," Jacob's Ladder from his 1986 hit "Fore!" ” performed the hit song “If This Is It.” After a series of upbeat songs like Back In Time and Hip To Be Square, the MC and members were introduced after a breather. It's Alright, Little Bitty Pretty One at the familiar a cappella time here. The main set concludes with We're Not Here For A Long Time from their latest work "Plan B" in 2011. The encore began with the introduction of the support members, and The Power Of Love, which started with the MC, ``The next song is a song I have to play every night of my life. This one's for you Tokyo!'' is truly a masterpiece. It was recorded so well that it could be called the ultimate audience recording, and I think that anyone who listened to this song at a store would probably be amazed. The songs are good, and you can experience the tremendous musical excitement. Following the hit song Do You Believe In Love from their second album ``Picture This'' in 1982, Huey speaks thoughtfully about his memories of Phil Lynott in England and belts out Thin Lizzy's The Boys Are Back In Town. Play. With this performance, this song. Hearing this song with Huey playing the harmonica on the album ``Live & Dangerous'' will be deeply moving for rock fans. The last song is once again a classic song, Workin' For A Livin' from the "Picture This" era, and the concert ends with a bang. One of the best sound quality and content. It's the best souvenir for fans who went to the concert, and even for people who aren't that interested in Huey Lewis' current music, I think hearing this title will completely change their mind.
