This is a precious live recording of Hubert Sumlin, who was Howlin' Wolf's right-hand man and later gave birth to many followers of rock guitarists. The audience master has a great sense of realism and is perfect for enjoying a blues live performance. The sound quality of each song was inconsistent, but the remastering has made it as uniform as possible. 1988 may seem like a tricky year, but Sumlin's actual solo debut was in 1987. You can enjoy the passionate live performance of a master who was active at the forefront until his final years. Jimmie Rodgers and Pinetop Perkins participate!
