This is a live recording by the members of Herbie Hancock's studio album ``Monster,'' which marked the beginning of the 1980s. An 80's electronic lineup with a funky lineup including Wah Wah Watson and Alphonse Muzone, and another keyboard player in addition to Hancock. The show opens with "HANG UP YOUR HANG UPS," followed by "CHAMELON," which introduces the cool members of Hancock Juhachiban. ``MAIDEN VOYAGE'', a classic from the Blue Note era, begins with a soft solo piano, and from there the bass and drums pick up the pace and lead into ``ACTUAL PROOF''. Of course, four songs from the new album "Monster" are also played, and the vocal number is a must-listen. Although it is an audience recording, it is recorded so well that you might mistake it for a sound board. Although there are many Hancock live recordings, this "monster" band's live recording is extremely rare and has excellent content, so it is a highly recommended title.
