HELLOWEEN returned to Japan in 1989 with the historical masterpiece "Shugojinden - Chapter 2". Introducing a live set where you can experience the crime scene that became so popular that it became an inspiration. This work includes the “May 28, 1989 Club Citta Kawasaki” performance. This is a 3-disc set with the exquisite audience recording on DISC 1-2 and the spectacular audience shot on DISC 3. Although Kai Hansen was replaced by Roland Grapow in early 1989, the popularity of ``Shugoshinden - Chapter 2'' continued to skyrocket due to its overwhelming masterpiece. A second visit to Japan has been arranged, which will far exceed the first visit. First, let's look back at the schedule and check the show's position.・May 23rd + 24th: Mainichi Hall (2 performances) ・May 26th: Nagoya City Public Hall ・May 28th: Club Citta Kawasaki ←★This work★ ・May 29th-31st: Tokyo Welfare Pension Hall (3 performances) June 1st: Nakano Sunplaza June 3rd: Shiodome PIT II [Clear sound live album and spectacular shots] A total of 9 performances. The second half was occupied by six consecutive performances in the Kanto area, although the venue was changed, and this Kawasaki performance was the opening concert. The main feature of this work is a two-disc full live album with exquisite sound. Although it is not so close that you can mistake it for a sound board, the clarity and fine details make you want to mistake it (?). The core that reaches straight is sharp like a laser beam, and the aura-like hall sound that rises from it gives thickness and dynamism without hiding details. In particular, Michael Kiske's vocals are clearly captured, and you can clearly enjoy everything from a word of the lyrics to the subtleties of the big vibrato. When we think of music that suits audience recording, we think of symphonic rock, which is filled with harmonies, but in fact, the ``sky-like feeling'' of melodic power metal is also quite suitable. This work is a masterpiece recording that combines the vividness and beauty that is typical of the audience, teaching us such surprising facts. And, the audience shot of DISC 3 is the combination of the sound and the spectacular view. This is truly a spectacular view. The seats in the stands looked straight ahead at the center of the stage, but since it was the front row, there was absolutely no obstruction. You can see as much as you want from one end of the stage to the other, and the bold zoom from there is also wonderful. What's more, it's incredibly stable and doesn't flinch even when you shake the camera or zoom in on it. The master quality has deteriorated in some parts, such as "A Tale That Wasn't Right," but the position is too central, and there is a sense of stability that would be impossible without a tripod. This may have been taken for material purposes. [The crime scene that was about to occur due to the peak of popularity] This is a full show that is a condensed version of the Shugoshinden two-part series, with such clear sound and superb scenery. In order to get a feel for its concentration, let's organize the set here. Shugoshinden - Chapter 1 - A Little Time / Future World / A Tale That Wasn't Right (★) / Halloween (★) / I'm Alive (★) Shugoshinden - Chapter 2 - Invitation / Eagle Fly Free (★) / Dr. Stein / March Of Time (★) / Rise And Fall / Keeper Of The Seven Keys (★) / I Want Out Others ・Walls of Jericho: How Many Tears ・Single: Save Us (★ ) / Living Ain't No Crime (★) *Note: Songs marked with "★" cannot be heard on the official E.P. "LIVE IN THE U.K.". ...and it looks like this. The repertoire from when they were four members was limited to "How Many Tears", but there are many famous songs after Michael Kiske joined. Omagari "Halloween" and "Keeper Of The Seven Keys" are also available, and this set seems to depict the true form of "Shugoshinden", which was originally supposed to be a two-disc set. That set alone is enough to fill you up, but the opening song, “Eagle Fly Free,” is a must-see. Well, it's definitely a super masterpiece, but what's more important than that is the big trouble of stopping the performance. In fact, at this time, the audience who had lost their minds due to the famous Ultra song rushed to the front. The staff who was impatient with the momentum interrupted the show. The words spoken by the person involved with the microphone to the audience are extremely realistic. Let's write it down a bit. "Customers! Please listen carefully. We are in a very dangerous situation right now. Hey, people in the middle! People in the front, please listen carefully. We are getting crowded and in a dangerous situation. We can't perform like this. (Omitted) Please take a moment to calm down. We're going to take a break for a while." [Here there's a big boo] "Then listen to me! Please don't come forward!!" , it's like this. This loud booing was mixed with quite a few angry voices, but the people involved seemed to be veterans, judging from their determined demeanor. However, for UDO, this day was the first all-standing performance in the metal genre, and they probably decided that ``this is dangerous'' due to the enthusiasm. Well, it would be unreasonable to be told to "calm down" when Kisku sings "Eagle Fly Free" right in front of me... In any case, this is also a historical document. This is proof of how passionate Japanese metal players were about "Shugoshinden." This is a 3-disc set where you can fully experience such an incident (attempted?) show with the best sound and super spectacular scenery. A 3-disc set that includes an exquisite audience recording of the ``May 28, 1989 Club Citta Kawasaki'' performance, which came back to Japan in the era of ``Shugoshinden - Chapter 2'' and a spectacular audience shot. The main two-disc full live album has an exquisite sound, with a straight core that is sharp like a laser beam, especially Michael Kiske's vocals. DISC 3's audience shots also have a great sense of stability with no obstructions. Maybe it was taken by someone involved for material purposes. The show is a condensed version of the two-part "Shugoshinden", which includes the big songs "Halloween" and "Keeper Of The Seven Keys", and "Eagle Fly Free", which was so enthusiastic that the show was interrupted, is a must-listen/must-see Club Citta, Kawasaki , Japan 28th May 1989 Disc 1(64:37) 1.
