HEART has also released their first new work in four years, ``BEAUTIFUL BROKEN'', and is becoming more and more active. The latest recording, a live album containing a special concert realized only in London, has arrived. HEART is currently running a coupling tour called ``ROCK HALL THREE FOR ALL TOUR'' with three groups that have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, including JOAN JETT & THE BLACKHEARTS and CHEAP TRICK. This work was recorded as an audience album at the London performance of the mini UK tour held just before that “Royal Albert Hall on June 29, 2016”. Before we explain what is so special about this work, let's first summarize our activities in 2016. ・March 7th - June 25th: North American tour (24 performances) ・June 29th: London performance [this work] ・June 30th: Manchester performance ・July 2nd: Glasgow performance ・July 3rd :Birmingham performance《“BEAUTIFUL BROKEN” released on July 8th》・July 14th: “ROCK HALL THREE FOR ALL TOUR” starts In this way, the concert included in this work was the first day of the mini UK tour, right after the release of “BEAUTIFUL BROKEN”. The "special" part of this London performance is the collaboration with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. Not only the current “ROCK HALL THREE FOR ALL TOUR” and the previous North American tour, but also other UK performances, there is no co-starring, and it is a special performance only for this one day. This work is a live album containing the full recording of such a precious night. It was recorded by a famous recording artist living in the UK. He is a person who reports on the "latest Britain" with many artists such as Paul McCartney, THE ROLLING STONES, Dave Gilmour, David Bowie, U2, etc., and in our shop we call him a "regular master" and "British master". Familiar with This week, the best sound source of the revived RAINBOW will also appear, but it is one that was sent along with its famous recording. As I have written many times, the greatest characteristic of this master is the warmth of the DAT recording. This type pursues clarity while valuing the atmosphere of the workplace. This work is quite high quality even in such a master collection. While there is plenty of warmth and reality, the clarity is outstanding. Although I couldn't tell you the recording position, the musical tone is even more direct than the usual masterpieces, and on top of that, the elegant acoustics of the traditional venue "Royal Albert Hall" are just beautiful. The venue's reverberations will not become muddy or cloudy, and the beauty of the performance and singing voice will be enhanced several times over. When it comes to recording with the latest equipment these days, we are always pursuing a vivid feeling such as "how close we can get to the sound board", but originally audience recording has "beauty only in the audience seats". This work is a masterpiece recording that seems to be the embodiment of that “beauty” and the aesthetic sense of the master. A one-night encounter between HEART and the Royal Philharmonic depicted in that sound... It is truly a world of blissful beauty. The co-starring was not for the entire show, but for eight songs from “Heaven” to “Alone” in the first half of the show. This is the first disc of this work. Familiar masterpieces such as "These Dreams," "Dreamboat Annie," "Alone," and "What About Love" are revived in beautiful symphonic versions... Furthermore, there is plenty of repertoire for the new work ``BEAUTIFUL BROKEN''. There are re-recorded songs like "Sweet Darlin'", but four songs will be performed before their release, including the unreleased "Heaven", the new song "I Jump", and NE-YO's cover "Two". All of them are full of beauty that rivals the classics. Since it was a special performance for only one night, eight songs might have been the limit, but I honestly wish they would have performed the entire performance together because of how beautiful it was. The second half of the show will be a performance only by HEART, and it will become exciting at once as they perform their representative songs and LED ZEPPELIN's cover "No Quarter". In any case, it is Disc 1 that attracts a lot of attention. In the future, great recordings may come out on “ROCK HALL THREE FOR ALL TOUR”, but the beautiful communion with the Royal Philharmonic can only be heard in this work. This is a masterpiece created by a British master who put all his effort into capturing that precious night. This is a piece where HEART's, Royal Philharmonic's, and master taper's aesthetic senses are clogged and spill out.
