HANOI ROCKS is a legendary rock and roll band that Axl Rose and SKID ROW also admire. A professional shot of the band's "1985" in the best quality will be released. Speaking of HANOI ROCKS, along with their influence, their fate is also mentioned. In particular, the traffic accident that took away Razzle was decisive and was more than enough to force them to disband. However, that doesn't mean that he immediately disbanded after losing Razzle. While facing the tragedy, he once decided to continue rock and roll in response to Razzle's soul. This work contains "January 4, 1985", which is between the tragedy and the disbandment. It is a professional shot video of a live performance in their hometown Helsinki captured by the best multi-camera. Let's look back on the flow from Razzle's death to the disbandment.・December 8, 1984: Razzle dies ・December 1984: Terry Chimes joins ・January 1985: Live performances resume in their hometown of Helsinki [this album] ・March 1985: Sami Jaffa leaves the band and is replaced by Rene Begh ・May 1985: Mini tour in Poland → Official live album "ROCK & ROLL DIVORCE" ・June 17, 1985: HANOI ROCKS breaks up ・June 21, 1985: MOTLEY's "THEATRE OF PAIN", dedicated to Razzle, is released The above is an overview of the events surrounding the tragedy. The "January 4th" show included in this album was the second show after the restart. This concert was recorded on television and broadcast worldwide the following day, the 5th. It is said that 200 million people around the world watched this broadcast, compared to 4.9 million people in Finland (as of 1985). This work is the highest quality version of such a historical broadcast. The master is a rebroadcast in the digital era, and the image quality is of a special class even in modern times. There is no doubt that it was shot in analog more than 30 years ago, but it is hard to believe. It is a masterpiece in which a super-beautiful scene that can only be called "perfect official class" is unfolded throughout the entire work. It is the "HANOI of 1985" depicted with that quality that is heartwarming. Michael Monroe is as glamorous as always, and former CLASH member Terry Chimes (who will later join BLACK SABBATH) puts up a good fight. However, he does not reach his usual energy. In fact, that is not surprising. After all, it has been about a month since the sad news of Razzle, and this is the second performance since the restart. In the opening "Back To Mystery City", he also speaks an MC dedicated to Razzle, but more than that, there is a shadow that cannot be broken on Monroe's face. The more they go wild, the more energy they squeeze out, the more they feel like they're biting into sand. This is the beginning of the end. HANOI ROCKS is swallowed up by the whirlpool while fighting with all their might against the fate that has gone crazy with the decisive tragedy. Razzle is by no means an original member, and from the outside, one might want to say, "There are a lot of bands that overcome tragedy, aren't there?" However, the video conveys in silence that they were aiming for that but were unable to do so. This is a superb professional shot that makes you realize that rock and bands are living things. Please don't misunderstand that the rock and roll packed into this work is not bad. The spirit of trying to bounce back fate is tremendous, and it is a perfect example of "passionate performance". This is a superb live work that allows you to fully enjoy the masterpieces of HANOI ROCKS, who were about to enter their heyday. However, because of the intense perfection and the scorching hot performance, sadness also comes and goes, making this a historical masterpiece. A piece that brings waves of emotions in layers.
