In 2016, HELLOWEEN was shining for the last time as a five-piece band, just before entering the reunion of the century, “PUMPKINS UNITED.” A newly excavated original recording of the performance in Japan with AMARANTHE is now available. This work is inspired by the "September 26, 2016: EX THEATER Roppongi" performance. This is a superb audience recording that completely records the entire night, including the opening AMARANTHE. Speaking of coming to Japan in 2016, I did a real-time report on “OSAKA 2016”, but of course this work is a separate performance. First, let's look back at the schedule at that time and look back at the show's position.・September 20th: Hiroshima Club Quattro ・September 21st “OSAKA 2016 (Namba Hatch)” ・September 23rd: Nagoya Diamond Hall ・September 26th: EX THEATER Roppongi ←★This work★・September 27th :Shinkiba STUDIO COAST All 5 performances. At the time, the topic was that the schedule had to be postponed due to Dani Lebre's appendicitis, but now there are more important things to do. In fact, this performance in Japan was the final date of the “MY GOD-GIVEN RIGHT Tour.” After that, HELLOWEEN reunited with Michael Kiske and founder Kai Hansen, and the next time they appeared in public, they were a seven-piece group called "PUMPKINS UNITED". In other words, the 2016 performance in Japan is the final destination of "5-person band HELLOWEEN". The Roppongi performance of this work was a historical turning point as it was the second to last performance. This work recorded at such a scene is a masterpiece that depicts the "best" in the picture. The work was done by Mr. ``Western Japan's Strongest Taper'', a master well known in our shop, and it is also a recording artist collection that is a sister work to the aforementioned ``OSAKA 2016''. At that time, it was thought that "OSAKA 2016", which also served as a breaking news, was enough, and the Tokyo performance has become a treasured treasure, but this is also a wasteful work to sink into the darkness of history. In fact, it is as good as the "OSAKA 2016", with the extra-thick core going directly into your ears, giving you a great sense of close contact with no distance. Although it is extremely powerful, it does not get scared even in fortissimo, and the ultra-fine details are clear. It is a demonstration of the “strongest sound” that is called “like a sound board” and “better sound than the scene”. You could fully enjoy that flavor at "OSAKA 2016," but since the venue was different, the individuality was a little different. To put it simply, "OSAKA 2016" has excellent sharp edges and metallic luster, while this work is superior in thickness and dynamism. This all depends on your preference, so I can't tell you which one is better or worse. “Both are the best sound with the “strongest” mark” is the final answer. What is depicted with such dynamic sound is a coupling show where old and new melodic styles are lined up. To put it bluntly, both bands have the same set as "OSAKA 2016," but when it comes to HELLOWEEN's "Strongest Mr." collection, they have recently been producing masterpieces such as "OSAKA 2008," "OSAKA 2011," and "OSAKA 2013." This time, let's compare and organize the set. DISC 1: AMARANTHE: Hunger/1.000.000 Lightyears/Amaranthine/Call Out My Name ・The Nexus: Invincible/Afterlife/Electroheart/The Nexus ・Massive Addictive: Digital World/Trinity/Massive Addictive/True/Dynamite/ Drop Dead Cynical DISC 2-3: HELLOWEEN・Shugoshinden-Chapter 1-: Future World・Shugoshinden-Chapter 2-: Eagle Fly Free/Dr. Stein/I Want Out ・Master of the Rings: Where The Rain Grows・Time of the Oath: Steel Tormentor/Power/Forever And One (Neverland)/Before the War (★)・Dark Ride: Mr. Torture (★)・Straight Out of Hell: Waiting for the Thunder / Straight Out of Hell ・My God-Given Right (★) / Heroes (★) / Lost in America (★) ・Medley (★): Halloween / Sole Survivor / I Can / Are You Metal? / Keeper of the Seven Keys *Note: Songs marked with a ★ are not available in the “Strongest” collection “OSAKA 2008,” “OSAKA 2011,” and “OSAKA 2013.” ...and it looks like this. The new songs from the five-piece band's final album ``MY GOD-GIVEN RIGHT'' are about Mochiron, and ``Before the War'' and ``Mr. Torture'' are also great. Even though the above trilogy was a rush of masterpieces, it makes you realize that there are still so many good songs left. Above all, the feeling of ``the end of an era'' is amazing. Of course, neither the audience nor the members were aware of it at the time, but it now carries the weight of historical fact. Because it is a comprehensive set, it is also a live album that brings back memories of each era from each song. After this work, the performance in Japan ended with the Shinkiba performance, and at that time, the “MY GOD-GIVEN RIGHT Tour” ended, and the “5-person era” came to an end. Currently, "Seven HELLOWEEN" is attracting metal fans all over the world, but their greatness lies in the fact that they are more than just "Shugoshinden Revisited." This is the final chapter of the ``Deris 5-person era,'' which is the basis of the manuscript HELLOWEEN and is being called for re-evaluation. The best audience recording of the "September 26, 2016: EX THEATER Roppongi" performance. This is a 3-disc set that completely records the entire night, including the opening AMARANTHE. A treasured master of the well-known "Western Japan's Strongest Taper", the extra-thick core goes directly into your ear, giving you an extremely close contact with no distance. Although it is extremely powerful, it does not get scared even in fortissimo, and the ultra-fine details are clear. This is a signature product that stands out as the ``strongest sound'' known as ``like a sound board'' and ``better sound than on-site.'' With this visit to Japan, you will be able to experience the ultimate live performance of HELLOWEEN, who will end their five-piece band.
