A special edition of Guns N' Roses featuring Fred Khoury of Cinderella. This soundboard album will allow you to experience their precious live performances in your mind. This work permanently preserves the "December 19, 1987 Madison concert," a stereo soundboard recording. At the time, they were turning the music scene upside down with their legendary "Appetite for Destruction Tour," but during that tour, Steven Adler broke his arm in a bar fight. Fred took his place on the stool. When did this special lineup come to fruition? Let's take a look back at their activities at the time and delve into the positioning of this album. 1987 June 19-28: Marquee (3 shows) ←* MARQUEE 1987 FINAL NIGHT and others ("APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION" released on July 21st) August 1-September 17: North America #1 (24 shows) September 29-October 8: Europe (8 shows) October 16-December 12: North America #2a (41 shows) ←* RITZ 1987 (Steven Adler broke his leg, Fred Khoury joined) *December 17-31: North America #2b (8 shows) ←★Here★ 1988 *January 5: Santa Monica show (Steven Adler returns) January 14-February 12: North America #3 (12 shows) ←* RITZ 1988: March 31–June 8: North America #4 (30 shows); July 9–August 17: North America #5a (24 shows); August 20: Donington; August 24–September 17: North America #5b (15 shows); ("G N' R LIES" released November 29); December 4–10: Japan (5 shows); December 14–19: Oceania (4 shows). This is Guns N' Roses from 1987/1988. Fred filled in for all nine shows marked with an asterisk. Our shop archives as many of the rarest shows as possible, with the "DEFINITIVE PASADENA 1987 SOUNDBOARD" being a staple. This is a great opportunity to further organize your collection by focusing on specific dates. Details of "North America #2b" * December 17th "ST. PAUL 1987" * December 18th "CHICAGO 1987" * December 19th: Madison performance ←★This work★ * December 26th-28th (3 performances) * December 30th "DEFINITIVE PASADENA 1987" * December 31st: Los Angeles performance A completely different, listenable, best-of-breed version. This work, which records such a show, is a powerful, dynamic, and top-of-the-line update. While a well-known soundboard, this work further refines the best master provided by overseas researchers. The sound is clearly superior to the "DEFINITIVE PASADENA 1987 SOUNDBOARD." It has a good balance from high to low tones, with plenty of density in the midrange. While roughly "official excavation grade," the master's freshness is excellent, with almost no creases or dubbing marks. In fact, previous versions were terribly out of tune (this one is naturally perfectly tuned and stable), but it's been reborn into something completely different. The upgraded sound, like a Fred version of APPETITE, is like "APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION re-recorded with Fred's drums." Because this was an opening act for Alice Cooper, the set was short, about 50 minutes long, but the set, which extracted seven killer tracks from the Revolution album and added "Move to the City" and "Knockin' On Heaven's Door," was particularly strong. Perhaps a week after Adler's sudden departure, Fred has settled in well, and the ensemble is impeccable. In addition to this set, Axl Rose's narration is also a highlight of this album. Before "Move to the City," he explains the circumstances surrounding Adler's departure and Fred's joining, but even more so in "Blues Jam." Over a simple jam, Axl recounts an incident from the previous day in Chicago, where he was apparently told, "You look like Bon Jovi" because of his long hair. Axl reportedly responded, "Bon Jovi, suck my dick." The sound on this album perfectly captures every word Axl uttered. While the number of tracks may not match the volume of the solo performance "DEFINITIVE PASADENA 1987 SOUNDBOARD," this is a soundboard album that surpasses the quality of the highest peak. This album further refines the best master recommended by researchers. This is a stereo soundboard recording of the "December 19, 1987 Madison concert." This is a top-notch update of the best master provided by an international researcher, with a perfectly pitched and perfectly sounding sound that is completely different from the previous master. This is a new and definitive album that allows you to enjoy the rare performance featuring CINDERELLA's Fred Khoury on drums.
