The appearance of GUNS N' ROSES, which should be recorded as a "phenomenon" and "revolution" in the rock world. Along with "APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION," which turned the world upside down overnight, this is a reissue of a real album that tells the truth about GUNS N' ROSES right after their debut! This work was recorded at “Nottingham performance on October 5, 1987”. This is the pattern of the UK tour that was realized less than two and a half months after the impact of "APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION". From this tour, the Hammersmith performance is famous, but this work is three days before that. Let's take a look at the schedule. ・October 4th: Newcastle City Hall ・October 5th: Nottingham Rock City [This work] ・October 6th: Manchester Apollo ・October 7th: Bristol Colston Hall ・October 8th : London Hammersmith Odeon In this way, the UK tour has a total of 5 performances, and this work is the 2nd performance. This work was recorded by Mr. ``Crazy S.''. There is no way that the world-famous master who recorded many hard rock/heavy metal bands in the 80's would miss out on GUNS N' ROSES, who are in the midst of a "revolution." When I heard about the UK tour, I immediately went to the venue, and there was a reason why he chose "Rock City". Actually, for the last five days, we were on a tour visiting halls all over the UK, but the only standing club was "Rock City". An American band that has risen to the top with such ferocious momentum that even the term "up-and-coming" is lukewarm. I don't think I ever imagined that the club recording itself would become valuable, let alone the monster that it would become, but I decided to test its true ability at a real club. And, one night in "Rock City" is an intense live album that brings the young monsters of rock into a club. This recording itself has been loved with titles such as "ROCK CITY 1987" and "DESTRUCTION 87", but this time, we have been provided with the original cassette that directly breathed the atmosphere of the scene, and we have created the ultimate form of an unparalleled masterpiece recording. It happened. In fact, when you play this work, it also includes the excitement before the performance, which was not present in the previous episodes. You can clearly see that MOTLEY CRUE's "Wild Side" was playing before the show started. The moment that “Wild Side” disappeared, the excitement that erupted was amazing! Even the breathing sounds of British rock guys waiting for future big names that have yet to be seen are blown out from the speakers in an ultra-realistic way. Then "It's So Easy" begins. If you are familiar with the previous version, you will remember that this is where over-peak sound cracking occurs. I thought it was a mistake made by Kobo due to the noise, which is unbecoming of a master craftsman, but it's amazing how he immediately corrects it. After playing 2 or 3 songs in a row, he didn't notice it, and he fixed it right away at the first note of the first song, and after that, it lived up to the name of the "Crazy S." brand... No, it's one of the best in his collection. You can enjoy plenty of sound. I don't know if the master was checking the recorded sound at the scene, but if he was listening while listening, he would be able to hear the sound being recorded at the high volume of the scene, and if he wasn't, then it would just be the PA sound. I judge the sound based on that. In any case, it is a vivid recording of the prompt decision unique to a master craftsman. And the “young monsters’ club gig” depicted with that sound is hot. ``APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION'' changed the world overnight, but it was by no means a coincidence or a fake. Fierce rock that hits famous songs with more passion than the album. At that time, not only hard rock, but even hardcore and thrash metal were appearing, so it was hard to imagine that simple rock that wasn't particularly strange or innovative could sound so fresh and wild... Not only does it have a very thick band sound, but you can also feel the vivid enthusiasm of the British kids who lose themselves when they are hit by it. Perhaps it was a staff mistake, but there is a thick echo in the opening vocal, but it is a great recording where you can clearly hear such details and even a single word of the lyrics. The final scene is where such realism is especially vivid. Something seems to have happened at the end of "Paradise City," and Axel suddenly becomes furious. He left the stage saying "fuck!" and "suck!". While the enthusiasm for an encore swirls, WASP's "Wild Child" flows and the show ends. It would be a shame if I had been there at the scene, but when I listen to the recording 30 years later, I hear the heroic performance of the young Axel, who will leave behind countless stories of bravery. I feel like I'm choking with the intense document feel. Live at Rock City, Nottingham, UK 5th October 1987 TRULY AMAZING/PERFECT SOUND(from Original Masters) (66:25) 1. Intro 2. It's So Easy 3.
