The official video "USE YOUR ILLUSION 1992 IN TOKYO" was a symbol of the era. The laser disc version has been reprinted with the highest quality ever. GUNS N' ROSES, with Slash and Duff McKagan returning, is about to return to Japan, but this work contains their second visit to Japan. This is the official video of the "February 22, 1992: Tokyo Dome Performance". This live was broadcast by satellite stations at the time and then released as a software. It was released as two videos, "USE YOUR ILLUSION I" and "USE YOUR ILLUSION II". As the only official live video with the front line of Axl Rose, Slash and Duff, it is a masterpiece that shines brilliantly in rock history. There are overseas DVDs of the decided video, but this work was created from a different "Japanese version laser disc". To date, the Japanese version has not been reissued, and it is a special edition that is unlikely to happen in the future (although it is said that it is a matter of rights...). The video/overseas DVD is divided into two, but the "Japanese Laser Disc" is one disc. It is a condensed 2-hour version with several songs cut and the order of the songs edited. The amazing thing about such a "Japanese Laser Disc" is its quality. Our shop has digitized many "Japanese Laser Discs" in the past, and this is the latest. Using mint quality laser discs owned by core enthusiasts, we entrusted it to an overseas analog video manufacturer. It is precisely made into a DVD using high-end equipment for professional use. The screen quality is astonishingly beautiful. In the first place, laser discs have more scanning lines than VHS/Beta, and the standard itself is superior, but the preservation is also outstanding. There is no distortion or deterioration peculiar to tapes, and the glossy color is the same as it was at the time. Nowadays, it is not uncommon for officially preserved master tapes to deteriorate over time, and there are even cases where people say, "I thought it was finally made into a DVD, but the laser disc was more beautiful." In Japan, which has been sensitive to the latest media since that time, countless laser discs have been produced, and the quality of the discs is the best in the world. It has become so well-known among collectors that "if you want the ultimate quality, you should go for the Japanese laser disc." This work, which has been digitized through such a precise process, is full of GUNS N' ROSES' "monsterness." At that time, Izzy Stradlin had been replaced by Gilby Clarke. In addition to the six members, three horns, two female choruses, and one side keyboard player were used, making it a big show with a total of 12 people. The bigger the band, the bigger the scale of the audience. The "USE YOUR ILLUSION TOUR" has come to Japan twice and performed six shows, all of which were at the Tokyo Dome. Let's take a look at the schedule here.・February 19, 1992: Tokyo Dome ・February 20, 1992: Tokyo Dome ・February 22, 1992: Tokyo Dome [This work] 《11 months later》 ・January 12, 1993: Tokyo Dome ・January 14, 1993: Tokyo Dome ・January 15, 1993: Tokyo Dome In this way, the Big Egg is a beautiful color. Not only is it popular to hold stadiums for three days each, but the fact that there is only Tokyo Dome means that people from all over Japan gathered at this site. In fact, the audience shown in this work is not only in number but also in thickness. Not only the band guys who are full of energy, but also girls who usually seem to be chasing idols, suit-wearing dads who seem to be on their way home from work, high school students who seem to have rushed to the scene with their pocket money... A sea of people who are more appropriate to call a "crowd" than an "audience" jumps up to "You Could Be Mine" and sways to "November Rain". Regardless of age or the genre you usually listen to, the huge mass power of "If GUNS comes, I have to see it" spreads across the screen. Furthermore, the production that captures the live that heats up such a crowd is also huge. At that time, Japan was on the verge of bursting the bubble, but the number of cameras that made money is a little countless. If Axel walks on the stage, he can be captured from countless angles, from the front, back, right, left, and under his feet. Even jumping off the drum riser is luxurious, with several cuts. Moreover, this work is a condensed version of 2 hours, so "richness" is added to "luxury". The 3-hour version of the two videos was also full of monstrosity, but the editing that narrowed it down to popular songs is like a "best video version". It is a special video of Axel, who had just turned 30 at the time, running through the entire film without a moment of slackness. It is a huge rock band like Prince or Madonna. "The first visit was more amazing" "Appetite after all" ... At the time, such things were said because of the size and popularity of the masses. However, looking back now, there was no time when real street rock was so big. And that too in Japan. The "phenomenon" of 1988 did not disappear, but continued to grow without abating, and arrived at this work. The band, the crowd, the show, the photography, everything is huge. A masterpiece that evokes the scene of such an era from the "Japanese Laser Disc" which is the highest peak in history. Live at Tokyo Dome, Tokyo, Japan 22nd February 1992 PRO-SHOT (1:59:13) 1.
