The final masterpiece of the "CHINESE DEMOCRACY TOUR" is here. The quality is amazing, the editing is superb, it's a great performance that lasts more than three hours, and there are only 6,000 people in a venue that can accommodate about 15,000 people... it's a must-see masterpiece from start to finish. This film was shot at the "Greenville performance on October 31, 2011". It's just one act of the "CHINESE DEMOCRACY TOUR"... but this tour has been going for 11 years. First of all, let's get an idea of the overall picture.・January & December 2001: 4 performances・August-December 2002: 23 performances (4 years later)・May-December 2006: 75 performances・February & June-July 2007: 20 performances (November 2008 "CHINESE DEMOCRACY" released)・December 2009-December 2010: 76 performances・October-December 2011: 41 performances ←【This work】 This is a total of 239 performances of "CHINESE DEMOCRACY TOUR". This work is the final "October-December 2011" period, and is the 13th show out of 41 performances here. This work is a multi-camera audience shot as mentioned above. It was shot with roughly two cameras, "Camera 1" which zooms in on Axl Rose and follows the highlights, and "Camera 2" which captures the entire stage. What is surprising is the extraordinary image quality. Both cameras are shot from a relatively distant view of the second floor seats, but the vivid and super detailed image quality is top class even in modern times, and even a single particle of smoke and a single spark of pyro are super clear. Moreover, even in the second floor seats, it is probably the front row, and the arms and heads of the front row are not reflected at all. The super beautiful digital image quality spreads only the stage. Furthermore, "Camera 1" not only approaches with a direct shot of the zoom, but also skillfully interweaves screen shots. Although the two cameras are shot from similar angles, the quality is comparable to professional shots, with the zoom change, the way the highlights are held, and the close-up of the screen. The final blow is the sound. It was recorded with a microphone installed on "Camera 2", but the super clear sound is perfect for a scene with zero obstructions. Even without the best view, you can enjoy a lot of luxurious rock and roll with beautiful sound that can be made into a live album with just the audio. The show depicted in such high quality is wonderful. There are other videos from this period, but the spirit of this day is a little different. I don't know why, but Axel is clearly in high spirits and the sharpness of his action is reminiscent of the 90s. Perhaps because of his good performance, he played one masterpiece after another without stopping, and before I knew it, it had become a long show of over three hours and 28 songs (plus each person's solo). For example, the official work "APPETITE FOR DEMOCRACY 3D" was a masterpiece, but it still didn't reach three hours, and it will feature plenty of songs that were not even seen in that work, such as "Out Ta Get Me", "Sorry", "Madagascar", "Shackler's Revenge", and even covers of "Riff Raff", "My Generation", "Whole Lotta Rosie", and "Nice Boys". In particular, AC/DC's "Riff Raff" and "Whole Lotta Rosie" are particularly moving now that I know the reality of standing at the front of the original. As usual (?) on this day, it seems that the audience was left waiting for about two and a half hours, but the goodness of this work does not give the slightest hint of such a situation. On the other hand, it is the audience who thinks, "Is it because of the delay!?" When the angle is pulled back, the emptiness of the first floor arena stands out. According to the record, 6,000 people were mobilized on this day. The Bon Secours Wellness Arena, where the event took place, has a capacity of approximately 11,000 to 16,000 people (depending on the setting). It is unclear whether this was due to the lateness of the show or another reason, but the strange sight of Axel frolicking in a rather lonely crowd is enjoyable. In any case, this show is of unquestionably excellent quality and full of enthusiasm. And it is a masterpiece video with a little mystery as an added bonus. This is a great three-disc set for experiencing this era live, or simply witnessing a show depicting the classic songs with a luxurious production.
