The wonderful "USE YOUR ILLUSION TOUR" 25 years ago. This masterpiece video lets you experience the early live performances with Izzy Stradlin still in the band 100% live, and even vacuum-packs the scene of a big fight with the audience. This tour was huge, lasting two and a half years, and during that time there were changes in the lineup, such as adding horns and chorus, and even member changes. Of particular importance is the departure of original member Izzy Stradlin. This work is a live video before Izzy left the band, so let's take a look at the changes here.・January 1991: South America #1 (2 shows) ・May-August 1991: North America #1 (41 shows) ←★Here★ ・August 1991: Europe #1 (7 shows) 《September 1991: Release of "USE YOUR ILLUSION I&II"》《November 1991: Izzy leaves the band → 13-person lineup including horns》 ・December 1991-February 1992: North America #2 (23 shows) ・February 1992: Japan #1 (3 shows) ・April-October 1992: North America #3 + Europe #2 + North America #4 (51 shows)・November-December 1992: South America #2 (9 performances) ・January-February 1993: Japan #2 + Oceania (6 performances) {Returning to a 6-person band only formation} ・February-April 1993: North America #5 (29 performances) ・May-July 1993: Europe #3 + South America #3 (27 performances) Izzy left the band in November 1991, but there were only 50 live performances from January to August (he also participated in support for 5 performances in May 1993). This work contains the "Philadelphia performance on June 13, 1991" when Izzy was enrolled. This is the audience shot of the 16th performance of the above "North America #1". This work is the best footage that has appeared in recent years. Of course, it is a video shoot due to the era, but its freshness is astounding. There is almost no tape twist or dubbing deterioration, and the finely textured image beauty is truly lustrous. Although it is a little dark by modern standards, the fact that a full show remains with this image quality is a miracle. Of course, the view itself is more shocking than just the freshness of the master. It is a shot looking down from the second floor seats on the right side of the stage, but there are no heads or arms in the front row, so it was the front seats. It is a "pure GUNS" angle where only the stage occupies the entire screen. Furthermore, the stability of the zoom, which is used frequently, is also abnormal. Perhaps a tripod is used, and even if you zoom in boldly, it does not shake at all. With that sense of stability, you can experience a close-up shot where you can clearly see the torn abs of Axl Rose and Slash. In addition, the excellent camera work is not just zoom. When it comes to tripod shooting at that time, there are many cases where the stability is good and the recording is fixed and continued, but this work freely pursues the highlights of Axl and Slash. The way the perspective is changed is also exquisite, and when you think that they were smoothly following Axel, they naturally switch to Slash as the two pass each other. Even in the scene where they are searching for the members on the stage, they never panic, and the skillful trick of focusing on the members while minimizing the difficulty of seeing is effective everywhere. The quality is drawn in the wonderful "USE YOUR ILLUSION TOUR" with the original four front members in a superb live performance. Even though the number of people has increased to six, the sight of those four taking control of the venue and the resounding rock and roll are full of the awesomeness of the originator. On top of that, there are plenty of new songs from "USE YOUR ILLUSION I & II" that have not yet been released. Although the scene where the new songs are carefully introduced has a fresh mood, the performance is already impressive. You can fully immerse yourself in such a great show in a three-disc set of about 2 hours and 40 minutes. It's a monster show with a lot of highlights from start to finish, but the most amazing song is "Welcome To The Jungle". In fact, Axel started fighting with a fan here, and the show stopped. There are various testimonies from that day, so it's not clear, but to summarize... First, a fan about 20 years old burst onto the stage and started dancing and making a fuss. Of course, he was dragged down by security, but he started to yell abusive language at Axel, as if he had a grudge. The band's photographer, Robert John, was there, and they kicked his camera away, and the fight broke out. Axel, who was watching the fight while singing "Welcome To The Jungle", picked up the camera and lost his temper. He stopped the band from playing, and kicked the audience out, hurling insults at them. In fact, in this work, you can't see the scene where the fans are invading (because there are a series of close-ups of Axel and Izzy), but you can witness the scene where he sings "Welcome To The Jungle" while glaring at the audience, the scene where the security jumps into the audience to stop the brawl, the scene where Axel picks up the camera and swears, etc. in a super clear way. At first, the whole venue is in an uproar when the performance is interrupted, but perhaps the situation is understood by Axel's words of insult through the microphone, and the booing turns into excitement, and even a big cheer goes up for Axel who spits out "asshole", "fuck", "motherfucker", "sucks", etc. There is a mood that the show is almost canceled!? However, after "Welcome To The Jungle" is re-partitioned, it will return to the best rock and roll show again. There was an audience shot that recorded the golden "USE YOUR ILLUSION TOUR" and Izzy's time with this quality in full. The current GUNS N' ROSES is excited by the return of Slash and Duff McKagan, but Izzy is still not there. A dream that did not come true even during this tour's visit to Japan.
