Guns N' Roses were a new monster in 1989. The best footage of their last night as an opening act is now available. Even Guns opened for various bands in their debut days. The Cult, Motley Crue, Alice Cooper, Iron Maiden, Aerosmith... However, with the unprecedented success of "APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION", they were promoted to headliners. Since then, they have dominated the scene as rock monsters. The last time they opened was in the fall of 1989. It was the fourth performance in Los Angeles of The Rolling Stones, who were revived with the "Steel Wheels Tour". This work contains the final night, "October 22, 1989: LA Coliseum Performance". This footage has been known for a long time, but this work is not a copy. It was carefully finished by an overseas enthusiast using a recently unearthed low-generation master. It is a masterpiece that conveys the historic night with the highest quality ever. In fact, the beauty of this work is exquisite. The angle taken from the stand seats on the left side of the stage is the same as the previous one, but the freshness with almost no noise or deterioration over time is completely different. The vivid coloring, without any unnaturalness of digital processing, seems to revive the scene at that time exactly. Contrary to such a scene, the sound clearly shows the power of the latest digital. This work allows you to switch between three types of sound, and you can choose the original sound that has been recorded, the latest mastering sound, and the sound that has been converted into 5.1ch surround. Of course, it is not a blind and powerful push, but a beauty that makes use of the sound of the original sound. It is a wonderful finish that shines with the sense of the maniac who produced it. The show drawn with that quality is wonderful. Although the "APPETITE FOR DESTRUCTION WORLD TOUR" including the first visit to Japan was completed by the previous year, the lineup was "those five people". While retaining the band's potential to turn the world upside down, they are also wearing the confidence and big-shot feeling of having actually toured the world. Moreover, since it is a special date with only four LA performances and not during a world tour, there is no sense of flow, and the short time they have as an opening act means they can keep sprinting at full speed. In addition, the supporting band is the living legend Stones, who have made a comeback. In "Knockin' Heaven's Door", Axel shouts, "Come on! Let's get excited for the greatest rock and roll band in the world, THE ROLLING STONES!!", and the spirit of respect symbolized by those words is bursting out throughout the entire performance. All the conditions were perfectly met, and it was a great performance that was destined to be a masterpiece. That alone is heartwarming, but an interesting twist that is unique to this work is "Move To The City". Here, SUICIDE HORNS SECTION, featuring Dub's brother Matt, appears. You can see a gorgeous ensemble with horns that reminds you of the later "USE YOUR ILLUSION TOUR". Another unique feature of the video is "Rocket Queen". In the middle of the show, Axel takes the bass from Duff and starts jamming with Slash. Meanwhile, Duff, who has had his bass stolen (?), starts tapping on Steven's drum kit in a lost mood. Axel, who has been walking around the stage while pulling the bass for a while, returns the bass to Duff and then starts tapping on the drums instead of Duff... I don't know if it was a promise for the LA4 performance or just a whim for this day, but this scene would never be understood from a live album with only audio. It's interesting because it's a live experience of the video. This is a treasure video where you can watch the show of "those five people" who changed history in the highest quality. That alone is enough, but it's a masterpiece that is sprinkled with plenty of spirit to not lose to the predecessors, special guests, and even a smiley play. This is an especially moving album, coming in 2018, the year the Stones' "NO FILTER TOUR" thrilled the world and Axl, Slash and Duff resumed their "NOT IN THIS LIFETIME... TOUR."
