Formed in 1979, GRIM REAPER cannot be overlooked when talking about NWOBHM. The orthodox metal sound was fused with Steve Grimmett's unique high-tone shouts known as "Grimmett-bushi," and the stunning GRIM REAPER sound captured the hearts of many metal fans. This title is a combination of the studio demo before the release of the first album in 1983. It's fun to see the sound change little by little from the 1981 demo mix to 1982 and 1983, probably due to the trends of the times. Above all, I am amazed at the high quality of the songs even back then. It sounds very clear, probably because it's a remaster. Of course, you can enjoy a completely different take from the album, and Steve Grimmett's voice is younger, so be sure to check it out! A great collector's CD that is a must-have for enthusiasts, containing a total of 14 songs, including the 1st demo from '81 before Teve Grimmett (Vo.) joined (there is a mistake in the credits on the back side lineup), and the demos from '82 and '83 after he joined!
