Graham Bonnet's first successful work in a while, ``MEANWHILE, BACK IN THE GARAGE,'' was also well received, and he came to Japan with MICHAEL SCHENKER FEST (hereinafter referred to as MSF). In recent years, he has been active in solo activities in parallel with MSF. On their North American tour starting at the end of this month, they are also planning a dream-like stage where they will perform all of ``NO PAROLE FROM ROCK 'N' ROLL.'' What's even more amazing is the lineup. Last year, they surprised us with the addition of 80's neo-club hero Joey Tafolla, but he left after leaving ``MEANWHILE, BACK IN THE GARAGE.'' I would be disappointed if this was true, but his successor was even more amazing. Furthermore, we have welcomed Kurt James, a hardcore neo-club guy! Kurt is also a guitarist from Shrapnel in the 80's and former DR. MASTERMIND/STEELER. Although he is considered a maniac because he has no solo or leader band albums, he is an expert who taught Tafolla how to play the guitar when Shrapnel was active. Currently, enthusiasts are saying, ``He's still far more skillful than Tafolla!'' Even in the coming ``NO PAROLE FROM ROCK 'N' ROLL'' tour, it is attracting attention apart from the main character Graham, saying ``If Kurt plays it, it will be amazing.'' [The only and best full live album] The introduction is a little long, but this is the latest full live album after joining Cart. This is the best audience recording of “August 14, 2018 Manchester Performance”. First of all, let's organize the show's position from the current schedule in order to understand the complicated recent situation. ●January 11-20, 2018: North America #1 (8 performances) ★March 6-April 3: North America #2 (20 performances: MSF)《May 1: Kurt James joins》・May 11th - June 1st: Europe #1 (18 performances)《“MEANWHILE, BACK IN THE GARAGE” released on July 4th》 ★July 23rd: St. Petersburg performance ・August 8th – 25th : UK (16 performances) ←★Here★★August 29th - September 5th: Japan (6 shows) September 28th - October 14th: North America #3 (8 shows)★October 27th - November 14th: Europe #2 (15 performances) ・November 25th: Spain performance ●April 15th-17th, 2019: North America #4 (3 performances) *Note: “・” indicates GRAHAM BONNET BAND , "★" mark is MSF schedule. This is the schedule announced so far. MSF and solo schedules alternate, and Kurt has been participating since "Europe #1" in May. This work is the 6th concert of the "UK" tour that was held afterwards. This will be Kurt's 24th show. This work, which records such a show, is a superb audience with a strong sense of closeness in a narrow club. In fact, it is almost the only full recording after joining Cart, but it is a high-quality sound that blows away the preciousness of such a de-class. Although there is evidence of spatial recording in the sound of the snare, there is little else that feels like a guest record. Anyway, it's fiercely close, close! I can almost touch it!!! The vocals and guitar were right in front of me, and if I had been told that I was sitting in the rehearsal room with them, I would have believed them. Moreover, despite the close sound, it is neat. Even when the vocals and beats explode into fortissimo, they don't freak out at all, and their sense of stability doesn't waver in the slightest. On the other hand, the small synth chord feel is also super delicate. Although it is not mistaken for a sound board, the listening response is no different from line recording. It is also an amazing recording that is on the same level as a super-excellent guy connected directly to the desk. [Vocals and guitars are the best of all time?!] The new GRAHAM BONNET BAND with such a sound is...amazing. Too amazing! The set is a concentration of delicious songs from RAINBOW, ALCATRAZZ, IMPELLITTERI, and solos. The style is the same as before, but the contents are very fresh. At our store, we have reported on masterpiece recordings such as "U.K. 2017" and "LONDON 2017" during the Tafolla era, but new songs that could not be heard there such as "Long Island Tea", "Rock You To The Ground", "Goodnight And Goodbye", and "Mirror Lies" ” is being shown. After all, I am happy with “Rock You To The Ground” and “Goodnight And Goodbye”. The former is (for some reason) not even MSF, and the latter is a hidden gem of "STAND IN LINE". You can enjoy it with the best sound that will screw it into your brain. What’s more than such a rare song is the essential vocals and guitar! Graham's excellent vocals, which are said to be at a career high these days, are still alive and well here. Even in this work (again, strangely enough, maybe it's for some reason), you can hear plenty of her singing voice, which is much more skillful and free than MSF's. And then there's Kurt James, who you should keep an eye on. This is so clever! To be honest, although Tafolla had a sense of phrasing, he still couldn't hide the blanks and couldn't play the texture of the original song. It was a show that made me pray for him to get back on his feet soon. But carts are different. The texture is very determined, and the original obri is also full of neoclassic flair. “Jet To Jet”, which Tafolla struggled with, is so vivid that even Yngwie himself cannot play it to this extent. Even more impressive is the IMPELLITTERI number. This has been repainted to look like ALCATRAZZ. For example, "Stand In Line". Chris Impellitteri's original version plays a riff between the first and second verses, but Kurt also dances around with elegant neoclassic phrases during that part. And the solo is not as explosively fast as Chris, but the melody has increased! It has a stronger neoclassical feel than the original, which was more power metal-oriented, and it's like Yngwie replaying IMPELLITTERI from 1983. GRAHAM BONNET BAND welcomes the fourth neoclassic man following Yngwie, Impellitteri, and Tafolla. Graham himself is maintaining the best condition that is said to be a career high, but I never expected that he would come here and become the strongest guitarist. The name value is not as good as the above three, but even if they teamed up with Yngwie and Impellitteri, I can't hope for a live performance like this... The current GRAHAM BONNET BAND stands on such a level. I can't wait to play all the songs of "NO PAROLE FROM ROCK 'N' ROLL" with Kurt, but first of all, the all-time best. A masterpiece where you can enjoy the latest show with the best sound. Live at Rebellion, Manchester, UK 14th August 2018 TRULY PERFECT SOUND Disc 1(37:03) 1. Pre-Show: Flirtin' With Disaster 2.
