Gong/Italy 1975 & more

This two-disc set contains precious live recordings from 1975, when Gong split into two bands due to differences in musicality. Unlike the jazz fusion band led by Pierre Morin, Gong led by Steve Hillage has developed a mysterious Gong world with a carefully thought-out original concept. Both the live performance in Rome, Italy on June 27th and the live performance at the Watchfield Festival in Oxford, England on August 23rd are recorded for the first time from the best audience recording master.
