Gizmodrome's first visit to Japan, which became a hot topic around the world as a super group in 2018, was recorded in full on soundboard-level digital audience recordings at the Osaka Melpark Hall on April 8th and the Orchard Hall in Tokyo on the following day, April 9th. First of all, this band was formed by an amazing group of members, Adrian Belew, Stewart Copeland of The Police, Vittorio Cosma of PFM, and Mark King of LEVEL 42. Their debut album, Gizmodrome, featured Copeland's songs, which these masters transformed into a bizarre and perverted pop sound, making their live performance highly anticipated. This title compiles the performances from their visit to Japan with two audience sources for the Osaka performance and one for Tokyo, and the Osaka sound source in particular is of equal quality. The anticipated set began with all songs from the debut album except for "Stark Naked," and of course songs from each of their careers were also selected. First, Copeland performed four songs from the Police, "Miss Gradenko," "Does Everyone Stare," "Darkness," and "Bombs Away," as well as Clark Kent's "Excesses" and "Don't Box Me In," a duo with Stan Ridgway. Belew then performed his solo "Young Lions" and Crimson's "Elephant Talk" and "Thela Hun Ginjeet." It was also interesting to see the four share vocals depending on the song, and there was a playful touch in which Belew sang the main part of Police's "Miss Gradenko" and Mark sang "Darkness." And of course, as the members are all so skilled, Copeland, who sings as the main singer, welcomes Pete Ray Begin of LEVEL 42 as the supporting drummer, but of course he also shows off his stick skills at various points, Mark also joins in with his high-speed slapping, and the rhythm section, which also includes Pete, is still powerful. And of course, Belew's eccentric guitar is at full throttle, and Vittorio's keyboard, which brings together the three strong personalities, is also wonderful, especially in the song "Elephant Talk," where everyone plays a leading role and their personalities blend together. This is a limited edition collector's edition commemorating their visit to Japan, perfectly recreating both of their rare performances. Disc 1 : 1. Intro. 2. Amaka Pipa 3. Man in the Mountain 4.
