From the 1991 Japan tour of the now legendary "George Harrison & Eric Clapton with His Band." High-quality audience shot video of the Osaka Castle Hall performance on December 12, 1991, which was the 9th performance and the 5th and final performance in Osaka, shot from behind the stands on the 2nd floor, 45 degrees to the left, facing the stage. . The video is provided by the photographer and the image quality is top class. The distance to the stage was far away, as you can see in the video when adjusting the camera at the beginning, but it zooms in and captures the stage from Andy Fairweather Row on the left to Nathan East on the right. George and Eric are clearly captured from this angle, and you can also clearly see Steve Ferrone and Ray Cooper in the background. During the second song, the audience in front of them stood up, making it difficult to capture the stage and causing some confusion, but otherwise the audience was able to enjoy the stage from a very stable angle. It's a bit overexposed, so you can't see the facial expressions of George and Eric, but the stage progress at that time, such as the guitars they change hands and the patterns projected on the background screen, is brought back to life. Unfortunately, Dark Horse only records the intro, and filming was stopped until George's MC of Cheer Down, making it impossible to see the final part and the excitement of the encore. However, Clapton's set is completely recorded, and what is surprising is that the audio is recorded in clear stereo. It is truly amazing that the sound quality is so high with the camera's built-in microphone at such a distant position. There is no doubt that thanks to this audio, you can enjoy the video without stress. The scene where George and Eric bow to each other, the scene where George teases the audience by making monster-like gestures between songs due to the excessive cheering, the scene where he mistakenly announces Taxman as being from "RUBBER SOUL", Ray Cooper As the audience watched, the memories of the stage performance at that time came back vividly as they watched scenes such as the scene in which George and Eric used different percussion and drum kits depending on the song, and the double solos played by George and Eric in various places. I'm sure it will come. Also, for those who were not able to see this concert at the time, I think this edition will give you a sense of the mood and excitement of the legendary concert. Up until now, multiple audience shots of this tour have been released since the VHS era, but the quality of this album is among the highest among them.
