A soundboard recording of the Amsterdam performance on December 8, 1978, a famous recording from the One Nation Under A Groove tour, the Anti-Tour. The bass and keyboards come to the forefront, and the vocals of Gary and others are clear without being buried. The performance of "Cholly" is one of the highlights of this tour, and it is very satisfying to be able to enjoy it with this sound quality. "Give Up The Funk" is a digest, but the tempo is well edited because the song ends and the next song starts immediately. "Standing On The Verge Of Gettin' It On" is a wonderful performance with the phrase "Skip To My Lou" popping out. "Mothership Connection" is not supposed to be a real mothership at this time, but the sound is so realistic that it sounds like it is flying away from the sound effects. The famous song "Flash Light" is also played well, and the important song of "One Nation Under A Groove" ends with a fade-out at the end, but it seems that they are avoiding redundancy, and they may be conscious of the live album. As a result, it is a recommended title that allows you to enjoy what the Anti-Tour was about concisely. And Disc 2, this is quite valuable. The opening recording from the Anti-Tour is a live performance by Parlette, Debbie Wright, Mallia Franklin and Jeanette Washington. Although it is a soundboard recording, the sound lacks sharpness. However, the vocals are forward, and as a result, it is the only Parlette live performance that exists, so you will find yourself worshipping it. From the first album "Pleasure Principle", there is the very danceable funk "Are You Dreaming?", the earthy but cool "Cookie Jar", and the cheerful "Pleasure Principle" that sings like the Emotions, the sound is a little off, but you should be able to understand the danceability. The performance is recorded almost to the end. And the opening recording of Brides of Funkenstein is also included. This is also a soundboard recording, but the sound quality is a bit rough. However, there are many performances of songs with a strong Bootsy color, and it is very funky. The Brides have been opening for them since the Flashlight Tour, and at that time the Rubber Band members were there. They may be there for the Anti Tour, but at least Blackbird and Dennis Chambers on drums will be there. The live version of "Disco To Go", which was #7 on the R&B charts, is still great. Both Parlett and the Brides have been produced by Ron Dunbar, a virtuoso who has been active since the early 60s, and the setlist is full of great stuff.
