Introducing a wonderful sound source that can be said to be a "shock" for British rock fans around the world. From April to May 1971, GENTLE GIANT's performance in Dusseldorf, Germany, which toured Europe with Colosseum, was recorded for about an hour with sufficiently good sound quality as an audience recording at the time. This tour was held to promote the first album by Gentle Giant, which was formed in the spring of 1970 by the Charmant brothers and released in October of the same year, including Giant, Alucard, Funny Ways, They performed six songs including Nothing At All, Why Not?, and Queen. At this stage, Plain Truth from the second “Acquiring The Taste” recording, which has finished recording, is also being played. Anyway, the 1971 GENTLE GIANT sound source itself is the first to appear, and it is also the first time that the sound source with the participation of the first drummer Martin Smith will be booted. (Therefore, Nothing At All, which features his drum solo, is very valuable.) It is not necessary for general rock music collectors to obtain it, but for those who are even slightly familiar with British rock and collect it. It can be said that this is the appearance of a sound source that is nothing short of astonishing. Needless to say, this is a take that has not been released anywhere else in the world, and it is a piece that allows you to experience the depth of the REEL MASTERS series. [Point of this sound source] - The time is probably April 1971. During this time, GG and Colosseum toured Europe together. The tour ends in May, but Jon Hiseman said in the MC before Skellington at Colosseum that the live album will be released in May, so it's probably April.・GG's live show in 1971 was the first to be booted. (A long time ago, there was a boot CD made in Italy called "Gargantua", and the jacket says 1971, but it was actually a live performance in January 1972) - Rare recordings from the time when the first drummer Martin Smith was with the band (he was released in August of this year)・Performed 6 of the 7 songs included in the 1st album.・2nd "Acquiring The Taste" has been recorded but not yet released (released in July) Live at Philipshalle, Dusseldorf, Germany April 1971 TRULY AMAZING/PERFECT SOUND (from Original Masters) 1.
