The 70's GENESIS major professional shot collection is back. This work is a collection of four approximately 30-minute TV programs, totaling over two hours. It was once released regularly as part of the "FILM ARCHIVE" series, and is the definitive version of the series with particularly excellent image and sound quality. Although it includes footage that is familiar to enthusiasts, its quality is the highest ever, and at the time of its release, it is a shocking work that shocked enthusiasts with the beautiful and clear appearance of Peter Gabriel. Now, let's introduce each of the four programs one by one. ["POP SHOP" Brussels 20th March 1972] First of all, the studio live from the "NURSERY CRYME" era. This is what happened when he appeared on the Belgian program "POP SHOP". It is also known as the oldest video of the "Golden Five", which included Phil Collins and Steve Hackett, and Gabriel also wore no make-up. As a result, GENESIS' theatrical appeal is weak, but the essence of the band GENESIS is exposed. The album's three songs, "The Fountain Of Salmacis," "The Musical Box," and "The Return Of The Giant Hogweed" are also valuable, but even more so is "Twilight Alehouse," which was released on the B side of the later single "I KNOW WHAT I LIKE." Its rarity is dizzying. Above all, despite such a precious video, the master quality is amazing with the highest image quality and sound quality. It is truly a historical masterpiece pro shot. ["BATACLAN" Paris 10th January 1973] Next up is the so-called "BataClan", known for its only footage from the "FOXTROT" era. This is a live video of “October 1, 1973 Paris Performance”. Although the video is dark unlike the TV studio, Gabriel's "fox mask" explodes from the opening "The Musical Box"! In "Supper's Ready," her white makeup spreads as the song progresses, and in "The Knife," she performs mysterious actions while playing the flute. If you watch them consecutively starting with “POP SHOP,” you can see that this is where the theatrical sensibilities were suddenly ignited. In any case, I'm happy just to be able to watch the perfect multi-camera live video, but the image and sound quality is also top notch. It's truly a masterpiece. ["THE MELODY SHOW" ORTF-studios, Paris 12th February 1974] The third is the "SELLING ENGLAND BY THE POUND" era. From around this time, the number of videos suddenly increases, but this work includes a studio live performance when he appeared on the French TV program “THE MELODY SHOW”. The editing time code is displayed on the screen, so it seems that it was recorded from the production master rather than the broadcast air check. It is a studio live like the first “POP SHOP” of this work, but the atmosphere is completely different. Gabriel singing "I Know What I Like" almost looks like Mr. Noppo from a certain public broadcasting station. What's more, the Earth and the Apollo rocket are projected in the background, creating an incomprehensible world. Even in the blockbuster ``Supper's Ready,'' which is performed in its entirety, a white-painted Gabriel wearing a wire crown dances, whispers, barks, and sings in a studio filled with ★marks and sheet music. Then, in the middle, he changes into a flower man, and in the second half, he changes into a red box Magoku, and at the climax, Gabriel, dressed in white, appears from the explosion! There were seven changes on stage, but the studio recording where you can create a worldview is still amazing. It's hard to believe that it's only been two years since "POP SHOP", and it's such a ferocious expressiveness. ["SECONDS OUT PROMO" Moody Coliseum, Texas 19th March 1977] At the end, the era jumps, and the four-member era after Gabriel's departure. This is a live video known for “SECONDS OUT PROMO”. Although it is “March 19, 1977 Texas Performance” which is different from the masterpiece live “SECONDS OUT LIVE”, it is a professional shot captured with perfect multi-camera, image quality and sound quality. It's a complete change from the Gabriel era, and it's a live performance where the performances since "POP SHOP" take center stage, but the performance is completely different from "POP SHOP". You can clearly see that the other four have also grown at a tremendous rate in Gabriel's shadow. The waterfall of light that is familiar from the cover of "SECONDS OUT LIVE" and the powerful solo scene with twin drums are also perfect. This is also a masterpiece video with amazing image and sound quality. A video collection containing four professional shots in the highest quality. It's a masterpiece that allows you to immerse yourself in the paradise of progressive rock for two hours. It's impossible and unforgivable that you haven't seen it yet. A release to reach everyone who doesn't have it. If you're wondering, "Does this mean me?", contact us now!
